Exceptionally accommodating, great food, and great service! They were able to host a spur of the whim table of 12 despite being busy with smiles on their faces and they food came out promptly and was excellent. We would not hesitate to come back if in Omaha.

They grow their own greens, source locally. Some small misses, but tasty, well cooked food with a super nice and friendly staff!

This was a very good experience, thanks to the wait staff and the food was delicious. I didn't get the name of the fellow who cleared our table but he was very nice and told us he was studying horticulture and is very pleased to have an opportunity to work here. I certainly wish him well in his studies and we will be coming back some evening

I enjoyed the Elk Bolognese tonight. It was very tasty. I had already eaten some other stuff before this so I did not have any of the appetizers, but the ones on the tables around me looked spectacular. I will have to go back again another time to try more.

First and foremost this food and service were great. Service was beyond fantastic! And we have consistently had good service here! The food is great, but my preference is just that, as we should all have our own :)We started with a charcuterie. It was good but I wish there had been a bit more cheese on the plate, but just a preference. It was very nice. We had a phenomenal bottle of Burgundy, they only have a couple French wines on the menu but they are both excellent and good quality for the price, (a bit confusing as it was not under the French wine section of the menu and under Pinot noir’s).I had the wagyu steak and shrimp, my date had the pork shank, both good, I have consistently felt like the wagyu label doesn’t discern a great enough difference in the Midwest when we can already get as good or better beef locally. And their dishes seem like a lot, a lot of food and a lot on the plate. It was still really great but I am always a fan of simple dishes just sometimes there is so much flavor, I’m tasting just spices and not the food. A lot going on, while they got close to this for me, still was very good and not muddied in flavor. The pineapple tart was okay, but not great. I also do not love pineapple, but it was a bit lack luster. And the simplest part the one marrow fried rice was amazing and I have a special place in my heart for the pork belly bao buns. Good god they have me as a life long customer just for these 2 dishes (well and always the wine) on their own. The buns not pictured.

I really wanted to like this place. I've read so many great reviews from happy customers. We went with high expectations in the hopes of a memorable meal. Instead I spent $200 on a bad dream I wish I could forget. The front hosts were extremely pleasant and made a great representation which led us to believe we were in for an amazing dinner. The waitress was nice but ended up being extremely inattentive. We asked her for a minute to check out the menu and she didn't come back to check on us for about 15 minutes. We ordered a charcuterie board appetizer to start. My daughter ordered the pork buns and a salad, My wife had the Wagyu steak, and I had the fish and pasta. less than 2 minutes after she walked away with our orders, the server came back with the charcuterie board and the pork buns, they must have had them pre-staged because the charcuterie board was stale. It can hardly be described as a charcuterie board, more like a condiment tray. Literally 3 slices of what the server described as "smoked sausage of some sort", a couple pieces of cheese, and I kid you not, mustard, coleslaw, cranberry marmalade, capers, hummus, fig jam, and some slices of almond and a couple slices of burnt ciabatta. so basically $20 dollars for three slices of salami and some condiments... It would have been much better if it tasted like it was fresh, and not like it had been sitting out for hours. At the same time they brought out my daughters pork buns, and an extra order of pork buns that we didn't order but paid for. Luckily they brought out the mistake or I wouldn't have had anything to eat. The pork buns were the only thing decent we were served, the bun was perfect and the pork belly was well cooked. about 15 minutes later we received our entrees, my Truffle Pasta with Grilled white fish, and my wife's wagyu steak. My fish was inedible. The fish itself actually had incredible flavor and would have been amazing if it hadn't been so over cooked as to be dry and tough to eat. The pasta was not good. The sauce itself had incredible truffle/mushroom flavor, however the "hand-made/house-made" pasta was awful. It was far past stale before it was cooked and came out rubbery and inedible. Imagine eating a slimy wet pencil eraser, that's the texture pasta we paid nearly $40 for. My wife's dinner was the most disappointing. The kitchen ruined what should have been a delicious cut of wagyu beef. It came out not as a steak as described, but as playing-card sized slices of over cooked, leathery, dry, bad tasting ... stuff.... One or two of the playing-card slices had some pink in it, but it was a far cry from the medium rare that my wife aske for.The duration of our meal, about an hour and 15 minutes, the waitress didn't visit our table once to check on us. Finally we flagged her down and asked her for the check. She said sure and didn't even ask how any of the food was. She came back with the check and some boxes wondering if we wanted them. We politely told her that we wouldn't need them because the food was not good and not edible. She apologized, dropped off the check and quickly left without saying anything else, no offer to assist, or bring the manager, or anything. It makes me wonder if it's not a common thing for their customers to leave the restaurant with plates full of uneaten food left on the table and complaints to the waitress. At that point we paid cash for the meal, leaving enough to cover and included an undeserved 15% tip in the paperback book that served as the guest check folder. We left in utter shock at how bad this experience was. It was literally the most we've ever spent on a meal, and quite possibly the worst meal we've ever had. Top it all off, we never received the salad my daughter ordered... Unreal...= = = = = = = = = = = = = =Update - Nothing but empty promises from the restaurant. No attempt to fix the issue, they just wanted to save face and look concerned, when in fact they already have my mo

Awesome restaurant. Food was incredible, loved the feel of the place, and service was fantastic. Most of their greens and herbs come from their own vertical farms which you can check out in the basement. This is our new favorite date night joint in the Old Market.

Our total experience was great. The restaurant was very inviting. The service was great and our server was friendly, kind, and very accommodating. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, answering our questions. We enjoyed our dinner tremendously. We will come back and recommend it to others.

Gather is a nice restaurant with modern vibe. Other members of my group enjoyed their meal. I was disappointed with the charcuterie board as it had lots of small items with no utensils to pick up. Most of it was not touched as items were not great or identifiable due to small nature. I was disappointed at the limited GF options and other food allergies that could not be accommodated. I ended of with a plain small, very small salmon only. To add insult they served it on an appetizer plate .
