Well, I am from out of town, SE MN to be exact. I was recommended to come her from a local. Well, I arrived and Taylor was there to great me. She asked what I would like and I said and Olde Fashioned, she replied, what bourbon, I said dealer's choice. She chose well. The price/size of the beverage was just about perfect. Taylor was very friendly and knowledgeable. An added bonus, you all use the good cherries! Highly recommend going to this place for a drink or 2.

I'm gonna start by saying that I'm a sucker for a dark low bar, and i gotta say the Grunion ™, fits that model in spades. Opened in 1968, and probably last redecorated in the 70s, this no frills dive cocktail lounge is an omaha institution that's been around almost twice as long as I have. The service is what you expect from all good dive bars, and the prices are in the same boat. You can have a good night here for not a lot of coin. My only complaint as a midtown resident is its a little too far west for me to frequent.
