Front door lady is very disrespectful and has a nasty attitude! Wants to charge a cover fee just to buy a drink when karaoke nights are free in the lower level floor. If you gonna run a business provide drinks on the lower level floor to avoid having confrontation every single time with this disrespectful person!

This isn't the place for the average gringo who thinks he's going to the buffet for enchiladas, tostadas, chili relleno, etc. This buffet has goat, cactus, pozole, pork, etc. Perhaps more auténtico, but not what a gringo expects. It wasn't bad, just not what was expected. The server was nice and service was quick. They kept my drink refilled.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Long ramp.

The food is just amazing here. Everything has an authentic flavor and the atmosphere is awesome. The service could definitely improve a lot. Hostess was awesome. Our waiter needed 3 reminders on everything that we asked for, as simple as napkins. Not mich personality either, but overall the place is great.

We really enjoyed our food and drink at Guaca Maya. I had a giant bean and cheese burrito with a lettuce and tomato accompaniment. It was tasty but made even better with a spoonful of salsa from the complimentary chips. The margarita looked amazing with a colorful lolly and a skewer of gummy candies. You have to see it to appreciate it. Bookguy had a mixed fajita that included shrimp, chicken and beef, which he thought was delicious. Sis ordered chicken fajitas that was so large she had the leftovers for lunch. There were two problems. One, as soon as we walked in the odor of mold was horrible. As we moved away from the door, the horrible smell was less noticeable, but I couldn't help but wonder about overall cleanliness. The second problem was the extremely loud music. There were three individual men taking turns singing using a karaoke machine. They sounded good and this was a nice change of pace from mariachis, but it was too loud per permit conversation. The smell and loud singing prevented a five star review.

My wife and I had the Fajitas and they were outstanding! The service was excellent. We have a new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Found a hair in my food told waiter and was still charged full price. They only said sorry about it.
Rich in flavor, but very greasy. Expensive for the experience.

The ambience here is overall fun, however we went on a friday which was a karaoke type night and it was incredibly loud and hard to have conversation or think. The music was fun and a good vibe once you got used to it but I likely wouldn't return on a Friday. The food is absolutely delicious and their chorizo and homemade corn tortillas is some of the best i've had in Omaha's. I highly recommend the combo fajita and swapping the steak for chorizo. The portion size is large and you will have enough for leftovers which still tastes great the next day. The servers were friendly and attentive. The drinks were good and refreshing and overall a great mexican restaurant to dine in, would highly recommend!

I been here couple times and didn’t seem to welcoming. The prices for the food is too much for how the food looks. I ordered a burrito of carne asada but it was plain burrito with only carne asada inside and for $13. Everything is over price and not worth the wait.
