I ordered from them through a delivery app yesterday. I had the Oh Noh Kauswer (a Burmese coconut noodle soup), as well as the Lemongrass Chicken. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were amazing. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Absolute favorite place for takeout in Lincoln! We have had entrees from every section on the menu. Mint jalapeño pork and the eggplant both with coconut rice are my favorite combination. It is Thai/Burmese not so you may want to order a slightly lower number than your norm!

It has closed as of 1-3-19. Sorry that happened, it was a very nice place to get Burmese beef stew. This is what it said on Facebook page: This is the final day of business for High Peak at our current location. To thank all of you for your support, every table will get a free tea leaf salad (an $8.50 value) while supplies last. We will send out an announcement about our new location soon. Thank you for helping us make Nebraska our new home!

Great food at good prices. Went with a large dinner party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Will be back.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Omaha. The food is so flavorful and unique, always fresh and served quickly. Today for lunch I tried the Burmese beef stew with coconut rice and ginger salad - all for $8.99! I try something different each time I come and have never been disappointed.

I had the Burmese Beef Stew with the tea leaf salad. Very good food. Great quality. Good service.

Friendly service. Loved their coconut steamed rice. Loved the strawberry ice cream dessert, and their spring roll but it was the boboa tea that really won me over earning a 5 star from me.

This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in Omaha! Their menu has much more variety than other Thai restaurants in town. I ordered the walnut shrimp, which is one of their specialties. It's lightly breaded shrimp with a rich creamy sauce and candied walnuts. The coconut rice was a nice complement to the shrimp. I have tried many other dishes there like the Pad Thai, mango chicken, and larb, and I have never been disappointed. Be prepared that the device may be a little slower than other restaurants, but they are always friendly. This is a great addition to the Omaha restaurant scene, and the owners have a wonderful story of the American dream!

After seeing several reviews in several places about this place, hubby and I made a point to try it out. Quaint Asian restaurant that was clean with moderate attention to decor. Neither of us had had Burmese food before so I asked our server for some options. She recommend the Nan Gyi Dok and so I happily obliged. Holy smokies it was delicious. Lots of flavors and garnishes going on in that dish, but they all magically worked together to create a flavorful, rich yet surprisingly light dish. My husband got the Burmese pad Thai and while I didn't get his commentary on it, he ate his plate clean. ;) Prices are extremely reasonable with dishes ranging from $8-$11 and portion size was just right. We will be back and bring along our Asian food loving kiddos!

Delicious food. Got the beef larb, chicken coconut curry on top of wheat noodles and the spring rolls (it comes with 4 pieces! I happened to eat one before taking the picture). Beef larb was a tad bland but I wonder if it was because it was ordered to have mild spice. Service was great! Food came out after 5-10 minutes of ordering. I definitely will return to this restaurant if I'm ever in the Omaha area!

Came highly recommend and it didn't let us down. Went for a dinner on a Friday night, wasn't very busy. Got seated right away and our server was Paw, very sweet and chatty, knew about her dishes and gave us the recommendations. Orders came out quickly, Tea leaf salad was very unique, unlike anything that I have ever tried for a salad and it is something I can order again, little bit on the spicier side. Got the spring rolls, average. Also ordered the chicken Kebat, 7 on the spice scale and it was perfect for my Indian taste buds, enjoyed it as well. Side rice is coconut (sweet) and jasmine, non sweet. Good, homely ambience, good food, awesome service, enjoyed this family run Burmese/Thai joint, definitely will visit again to try other items on the menu.

Two words: samosa soup. I first got it with lunch special, so it was a cup of it + Burmese beef stew + coconut rice. What a fantastic, flavorful meal. I came back the next day and got a normal order of samosa soup, and got some coconut rice as a side, because I knew a bowl of soup, however flavorful, wouldn't cut it for me in the satiation department. Also delicious, though it got to be a more soup than I personally prefer for one sitting. Unless you just really really like drinking large quantities of soup in one sitting, if you want to try the samosa soup, I'd either recommend coming during lunch and having it as part of a lunch special, or sharing a full order of the soup with someone else! Or perhaps eating half and taking half to go. The Burmese beef stew is also very delicious, with a nice and well-rounded flavor profile. You can get it spicy if you'd like, but I asked for it to be not spicy, and it was not spicy. Just tasty. Though I stick to the five star review, I will include some negatives that do not detract from a restaurant for me, personally, but may be important to others: - Because it's a small family-owned place, you may have to wait a bit to be seated, and service is a little slow. - Restrooms smell funky. I don't know why, but I associate this specific smell with restrooms of Asian restaurants. Redeeming quality - the toilet paper is pretty good (not Charmin ultra soft but a good off-brand Charmin).

Great option for Burmese food! We moved from San Francisco, where there was a fantastic group of Burmese restaurants. This place is a great surprise, and has many of the classic dishes we love! So glad we found it. Recommend the chili lamb, noodle soups, and of course, coconut rice.

The first time I ate Burmese food was in Palo Alto, CA. I fell in love and thought I wouldn't ever find a place as good. High Peak was such a wonderful surprise- right in Omaha there is delicious, authentic Burmese food!! I will be coming back whenever I'm in town. I recommend stopping by!
