I had ordered the chicken and waffles, waffles by themselves, chicken and spaghetti, and the chicken omelet everything was delicious. Whoever that young nan was that cooked my food he needs to have a raise. This was my first time ordering from you guys and it reminded me of home.

Fair deal was a beautiful experience I went in Friday the first and ordered the fish dinner.... Let me tell you that it was very very good I mean the Mac and cheese was very good but the spaghetti... Oh my God.... I fell in love with it so my daughter wanted to try it out and got the disco burger and I know she is very pleased.... Then I found out that one of the owners I know and I can say he's a decent guy... To be a car sales person... I will return

so grateful to have discovered this place! fast becoming my new favorite. everything I've tried so far has been absolutly delicious. I can order on Doordash and get a complete home-cooked meal delivered to my home for the same amount of time and money I'd spend making a fast food run. so much better, the Mac and cheese side is way to small, but it's still delicious.

As someone who loves food, this place hits home. The waitress and staff were amazing even though our order was so large. No complaints at all. The salmon croquette sandwich was delicious. The chicken was fried well and moist. The fried okra, macaroni, fries, spaghetti, baked beans, shrimp and grits, and potato casseroles set my taste buds alit happily. My son even enjoyed roaming around the restaurant.☺️ Will be coming back to try their waffles.Kid-friendliness: My son had a blast waddling around the restaurant and the staff were understanding.

As one of the few surviving 1970s-era funky white boys who visited the old Fair Deal - and loved it - I can say with authority that this place is every bit as good, and probably even better. The hamburger with fries was as good as any I ever had. The atmosphere was great, complete with classic-era jazz instrumentals and vocals at a mellow volume. Relaxing, yet energetic. I'll return every time I'm back in Omaha. Hats off!
