I wish I could leave a negative review. My husband and I sat at the bar for a quick meal and I have never been so scared for our lives as a crazy unstable man that I don’t know if he had a gun or not came in and sat at the bar started screaming at the bartender, banging his fist on the bar - started yelling at us but the. asking about our financial situation, and we were visibly scared,.the manager walked by, saw the situation and did nothing, not a single person required this person to leave, no one called the police, and then the bartender and manager literally just left the bar leaving me and my husband with this erratic and unstable mentally ill human while he was harassing us, screaming, banging his fist and asking us if we needed work done at our house and what was our address,I’ve never feared for my life in a restaurant until this day. I couldn’t even eat the meal that I ordered because we just wanted to leave and we were even scared that he was going to follow us out. Not only did I not get to eat or enjoy even the glass of wine I ordered becausethis person would not stop harassing us.but they charged us for everything while apologizing for abandoning us when it’s their job to protect their customers and not the customers job to defuse a hostile person that should’ve never been allowed in the bar in the first place. I feel like I should file a complaint with the state because in my entire life I’ve never feared like this and I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else ever..

My husband and I have been coming here for years, and this is my favorite restaurant. I tend to stick to my favorite meals wherever I go. I’ve yet to be disappointed with the food or service here. We usually sit at the bar (not a sports bar). The drinks and service excellent, with little wait time. Today I ordered a fresh cup of decaf and their crème brûlée for dessert. The coffee was piping hot and the crème brûlée crusty and still toasty warm on top.A friendly heads up if you use the restrooms. The sewage system problem at Village Pointe isn’t their fault

Celebrated my fiancé birthday and couldn't have been happier. The beef wellington is some of the best I've had! We will be back.

I’ve had mixed experiences here.TLDR: wonderful restaurant, but wouldn’t entrust with a special occasion, like Valentine’s Day.My first experience was a memorable misadventure. This restaurant was overbooked by at least 50% on Valentine’s Day. We were seated over an hour after reservation time. How do you even blunder that badly? Hosts did awesome, but I was disappointed in management. However, we are grateful towards the gift card management gave us to compensate for this bad first impression. The food is delicious, and atmosphere impeccable.

We dined last night for my mother‘s birthday a party of seven. We were there over two hours, which was at least 30 minutes too long. They brought me a French onion soup which was cold. I sent it back. They sent me another one. That was still cold. Two in our party ordered chicken piccata and chicken Parmesan and said the chicken tasted weird like it was freezer burnt or something another person tried it in agreed my husband had a Rare ribeye, and he usually cleans that completely up and he left more than half of it on the plate as he said, it also had a taste as though it had been panfried in oil without any seasonings at all. We absolutely let our server know, and she took the soup and the chicken dishes Bill. She then comped our desserts which was very appropriate. However, the lemon cello cake was very dry overall as a group we had a good time and the But the food was really awful. This is the second time we have tried to eat there and just felt that the food was not up to par even with all that taken off, we spent over $400.

Delici?us meals; skip the fake (made with artificial ingredients) desserts that taste wrongly off, are not homemade, & just look & sound like they'd be fantastic, but are only leave you disappointed & dissatisfied EXCEPT for Johnny's cinnam?n ice cream❣️

This was my second visit. I was there for Lunch back in June. This time it was dinner. The food quality does not match the prices. I had veal with pasta my friend had beef wellington. The cheese you see was almost not edible and very much like trying to chew a rubber band. It just sat there in a lump. I could tell the veal was was two defrosted patties from some food service supplier. The pasta was over cooked. Then everything was smothered in tomato sauce, which did have a good flavor. I am from NY and grew up with Italians. They would have walked out. Normally Beef wellington is served with sauce on the side so you can enjoy the pastry wrap. This was smothered in sauce and served on its side. Just very strange. The highlight of the night was the service which deserved better quality of food. To me the dinner was worth one step above Perkins but the price for 3, with no desert or alcohol was $141. It was worth about $65-75. Two strikes and I do not see me going back for a 3rd.

Only 2 things I didn't like about this location. Crapstain on the wall and my veggies sucked. Overcooked. Other than that it was cool. Village Pointe was awesome! Reminiscent of NE Crossing!!Vegetarian options: They have excellent veggies but make sure that they don't overcook them!Kid-friendliness: Kids would love it. Especially the memorabilia. Very good history lessons for them!

We came in Saturday night on a whim, so I knew we might either have a wait, or might have had to go somewhere else. Just as I expected, without a reservation around 645pm, it was an hour wait. However, there is a long family style table, or bar seating available if you're okay with no table. We sat at the bar and our bartender/server got to our quickly. We started with a bottle of wine and put in a starter app, the light bruchetta. I was surprised it was 4 pieces! It was HUGE and delicious. My husband got the prime rib and I just got a salad. Service was pretty slow, but we weren't in a hurry, but something to note. Of course my salad with DOS came out drench in dressing, so that took longer to get. Overall, it was a good first experience here for us. I would definitely recommend getting reservations and sit at a big luxurious booth. The restaurant itself is very sophisticated and beautiful.

The beef Wellington was soaked in their sauce making every inch of it soggy. Considering it’s wrapped in puff pastry, the sogginess ruined the dish.
