What a lunch. The sandwich tasted as though the cheese just sank into your taste buds like a sponge with the bread being soft and unforgettable. 5 stars all around.

Always a luncheon steady. The soups and bread are comfort food that feed the body and soul. My husband often craves their tuna melt. If I could only bring Hip, the cat, who has a fetish for tuna, it would get 6 stars!

Great deserts/baked goods. Better than homemade, because you don't have to make them.

Yummy food and the friendliest service around! I had a soup and sandwich combo and it was delicious and so fresh.

Ah, the smells as you enter... awesome authentic food. Love the traditional foods and the little things you can buy to make your kitchen happy. Love it.

We came for breakfast at 9am. From out of town and thought it would be nice to give a local place our business. The food was cold and old. No lights on or inviting demeanor about the place. Won't go back again.

Not fancy, but simple and delicious. Menu includes house made soups; sandwiches on fresh bread; sausages-knackwurst, bratwurst, kielbasa; tuna, chicken and egg salads; pickled vegetables, saurkraut and amazing pastries. My husband loves soup. His favorite here is the beef barley. The soup list on the chalkboard changes with the seasons but offers 4 or 5 kinds. Once they run out of your favorite for the day you are out of luck. Dont worry, husband has tried most of them and hasn't found a bad one yet.My favorite is grilled ham and cheese or chicken salad sandwich. This is a casual, friendly, place with loyal patrons. Known for the rye bread and their tortes especially the napoleon.

Amazing!! We got a torte, raisin bread and kaloches. They never disappoint. Their hard work produces a quality like no other.
