My husband and I went there late afternoon early evening. We just had a believe if I remember correctly, the regular spaghetti with the meat sauce and I got to tell you, I thought it was on best red sauces I’ve ever had. The homemade pasta was hot, fresh and al dente. The service was superb.

This restaurant is permanently closed. The owners simply retired and that is that. We always enjoyed it. :(

Wonderful place, wonderful food and wonderful people! I'm so sorry to see it close. Catarina is missed and may God hold all the Malara family in his hands and give them the strength they need. They are such a kind and loving family. I will miss eating here.

Business is Closed for good. Tried to go for lunch with my daughter today. Sad to see a business with over 39 years shuttering their doors

Malaras is our favorite! We drive from SW of Omaha for their excellent food and exceptional service. So very sad to read that you are closing. We had our first date at Malaras in 2000 and got engaged one year later at a corner table on a very busy Saturday night in 2001. We've spent more than 20 years celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, date nights and family dinners enjoying your delicious salad dressing, toasted ravioli, pasta, meatballs, briscoli and desserts. The staff is top notch too, especially Michelle and Angie, who always treat us like family. Can't imagine not being able to spend an occasional evening with you several times a year.

Not terribly busy for a Friday at 6:30. We do have difficulty with the parking here as my sister has a wheelchair equipped van. They always have a challenge with seating us with the chair and the entrance is barely accessible. The food was delivered quickly and the servers were pleasant and I do love that they have some unique items on the menu. However, my pasta was overcooked and there wasn't enough sauce on my meal. I know the restaurant business is difficult to staff these days but I felt the quality of the food has fallen from my previous visits.Wheelchair accessibility: There are some challenges with parking, and the entrance, as well as finding space at a table and getting in and out past the other tables. Several seated people had to move to let us through.

Nice little Italian restaurant that will provide with more food than you were expecting. The prices are fair for modern Italian, but the portions are large. I ordered a half plate of fired ravioli (which was pretty good because I didn't know what to expect and would order again), and I thought that they had to give me a full plate. Everyone at the table responded the same way to the food that they ordered. The meatballs are huge. My only complaint would be there are very limited options for a vegetarian or pescatarian. This isn't the restaurant's fault, and it something that I expect from most places. However, there were fewer options than most places have. If you're not a vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian, then you have many options, and you should check it out. Be prepared to be very full or make room in your refrigerator for the leftovers. When you go there you may think that Google Maps is taking you to the wrong place, but it isn't. It really is located in a residential neighborhood which adds to the experience.

The food was good. The bar service and drinks were good. From the time we sat down till we left the waitress acted like we were an imposition and wanted to get rid of us. Nearly had to be to get dessert and she brought it a togo box. She reluctantly brought me a clean fork but never brought the plate finally ate it out of the box. And that was the best service she provided all evening.

Terrible service. The food was substandard, served yellow and brown salad and the Lasagna sauce had no flavor. Worst Italian food I've ever had.

Our food arrived cold. They didn't have enough staff. We were a large group who had reservations. We were offered 4 entries on a paper menu with no prices. They ran one ticket and told us to figure out what we owed. If you misfigured the person who made the reservations was stuck with the remainder. Finally one of the employees said she could do it. A 20% tip was charged, which is what I always leave, but the service wasn't that great. You felt like it was an imposition if you asked for anything.

Had a party of five for lunch. Quick seating and received our drinks promptly. Some of the items ordered were chicken parmesan, various ravioli dishes and fettuccini with Alfredo and shrimp. Everyone ordered a half order of their dish and there were many take-home boxes filled! Service was great.

I will start with the fact that the complimentary bread and mozzarella sticks were at best decent. Plus the staff was friendly and understanding to our concerns. We are staying at the Double Tree here in town and was recommended to this restaurant. We ordered the chicken alfredo and to our disappointment we couldn’t eat more than a few bites. The recipe needs some TLC. They said the chicken is grilled but to our experience it was boiled and the sauce didn’t have any flavor. We apologize for the review visiting the town however we were extremely dissatisfied with the food.
