Had an incredible meal at Omaha Prime. The service was spot on without being pretentious. The location is super cool and quirky.

My wife and I were in Omaha on a Wednesday evening. Looking for a different place to dine in the Old Market area. New to this restaurant, and it is a hidden gem for great meal and experience. Atmosphere was very unique and comfortable. Food was out of this world. Beautiful cuts of locally sourced beef. Couldn't partake in alcohol, but the wine list is impressive. Service is both professional and friendly. Best reccomendatiilon.

Pricey, but worth it, especially for any special occasion! My steak was cooked to perfection and the Brussel sprouts were amazing. One side dish is plenty for two.

Steaks were perfectly cooked with amazing flavor! Our hostess/waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. My wife is in a wheelchair and they set up a table for us on the 1st level to allow us to enjoy their outstanding restaurant!

The steaks were a little over charred and almost tasted burnt on the outside. The steak was great beyond that. The Alaskan king crab was great. The server was nice but didn't keep our drinks full.

The food was okay which is not how you want to describe 85 dollar steaks. The screaming toddler two tables away did not add to the ambience. When we asked for our leftovers to be boxed, we were handed a styrofoam container for us to fill. Again, not what you would expect from a place selling 85 dollar steaks. Will not waste our time or money here again. Will always go to Mahogany.

It's just awful. It started out with a long walk up an aging flight of stairs covered with tattered faded carpet. The waitress opened our wine while explaining that she cut her hand open the last time she opened that same wine. The steaks were overcooked, then undercooked, and then overcooked again. After sending the filet oscar back a 3rd time, I settled for an overcooked steak with congealed bernaise. I would not go back to this restaurant if you paid me. It's not worth the time or the stress.

The ambience is pretty and upscale. Just realize you have to go up a fair number of stairs to get to the dining room There is no elevator. The bbathrooms are on the first floor. Plan accordingly if stairs aren't your friend. It wasn't terribly noisy and we could hold conversations without a struggle. Two of the filets were undercooked. They took it back and brought correctly cooked. The bearnaise sauce came out with the consistency of pudding and was cold. The port reduction sauce was prepared correctly and was delicious. French onion soup was watery and lacked any nuance. Calamari was chewy. The truffle mashed potatoes and wine were the winners of the night. Bella our server was delightful and a redeeming quality to the experience. For the price I was underwhelmed and just ok. Everything but the potatoes were just ok which were stellar.

If you want a great steak, this is the place. Expensive but great quality steaks and sides. Had the 20 oz strip medium rare. It was perfectly cooked with a great crust. Potatoes are huge. Wedge salad was fresh and well made with a great amount of bacon. Would definitely come again for the steak.

We went for my husband's birthday. Perfect quiet ambiance, our server Bella was courteous and friendly. The food top notch as always. Love celebrating special occasions there.

What an experience!!! From the moment we walked in the door we were WOWed! The restaurant itself is so cozy and nostalgic! It's like you may walk in to Frank Sinatra while dining. ? James our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and our food was superb! Steak was cooked perfect and the drinks and sides were delicious! We were surprised in a Saturday night they weren't more busy. We'd certainly eat there again when in Omaha! Thank you for the delicious anniversary meal!

Our second visit to Omaha Prime did not disappoint. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Bella again. She is a fantastic server and really made our meal memorable. The steaks were delicious and the drinks were great. I highly recommend Omaha Prime as the best steakhouse in town, especially in the Old Market. Ask for Bella!

We came with a group for NYE and it was all of our first time. I have to say, I was definitely impressed. The food and service were great, my steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were delicious. The restaurant itself could do with a bit of updating, especially the bathrooms. It was also a bit on the pricey side, about $100/pp and we brought our own wine. All in all, a good steakhouse to have in your rotation in Omaha!

Overall it was a good NYE dinner. We had requested the balcony but understandably it was full and we got a table that was inside but very close to the balcony and had nice privacy. For dinner we had the veal chop, seabass, truffle potatoes and creamy spinach. (And a bottle of wine.) The veal chop was really good, we ordered MR and it came as ordered and had a good sauce. The seabass was a bit strange, it looked like it was almost butterflied and half of it had the texture and consistency of seabass however the other half was chewier and seemed like a completely different type of fish. However for the price we thought maybe it is just not as nice of a cut or quality as it wasn't very expensive compared to others we have had. It also came with rice which we didn't know and really didn't need. Truffle potatoes were good and paired perfectly with the veal chop. Creamed spinach was ok. Service was good especially for such a busy night like NYE. Overall recommend would just not order the seabass next time.
