I usually had a good experience, however, as of lately service has been lacking. It takes while to order and is caused by 2 different reasons. One the POS system crashes or the person on register doesn’t know how to use it. We had plans to goto a game but were late because it took 30 minutes to get out food and that’s after the 15ish minute wait to order (not because of a long line but for the reasons previous mentioned.) I am hopeful to change this to 5 star they have a great menu!!!

It really hurts me to write this review hands down the rusty taco on maple has been my go to since it open I have never had bad food or service until today the service was great the food not so much I ordered a texican taco and two brisket taco on corn the meat for the texican was burnt and cold the brisket was cold I was very disappointed hope it was just an off day because this is my favorite place to eat taco

One of the best taco places in Omaha for vegetarians. Love their crispy cauliflower tacos. Perfectly spiced crispy cauliflowers in tacos with a sprinkle of avocado crema is a match made in heaven! If you are a spice lover I would highly recommend you to try it out with some habanero salsa.Their loaded black bean nachos is another great option in the menu as well. A budget friendly place with great food. A must try in Omaha !!

Yikes, Rusty Taco looks like a dumpster. The minute you walk in and look at the ceiling fans are covered with dust. If that falls on my food…. Everything is dirty. Everything has finger prints. What happened to this place? It was dead walking in, and all tables were dirty, floor was filthy. This restaurant was always clean, top notch. The food, my god cold and corn tortillas break at the bite. Seriously?! I felt gross eating here and leaving here. Trays are being clean with the same rag you clean the tables, seriously?

Online the hours show they are open till 9pm. I drove 20 minutes and showed up at 8:45pm and they told me the kitchen was closed. So put your hours to 8:30pm then. Thanks for wasting my time.
I got their street tacos. Weren’t seasoned very well to taste like the taco trucks. Also, I took a bite and spit it out. It tasted rotted. Very poor quality meat. It’s appalling what people get away with serving now a days. Like it’s not safe to eat out anymore. I just threw the rest away after eating half. I don’t look forward to having indigestion for the rest of the day.

We absolutely LOVE this location! Derrick , the manager is AMAZING! He explained that he took over as manager a little over a month and a half ago and you would never be able to tell he's new to the position..I was talking with him and thanking him for his amazing customer service because he always goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy. Being from the South, I truly miss that Southern hospitality, It's so hard to find in the Midwest, there are less than a handful of establishments I have felt that have it since having to relocate due to husband being in the military, but it is definitely felt here. The food is always fresh and delicious. We always get the Philly taco, the uptown (check availability) and the chicken tacos, absolutely amazing. We tried the new birria tacos this time but honestly I did not care too much for them I felt they lacked a little seasoning, I had to add salt and pepper. But I seen someone else complain about the salt on another review so maybe it's just the cook that day or they felt they needed to lighten up on it. We also decided to try the limited time only Margarita flight that they are offering during the summer. The flavors were delicious but felt that they were a little too sweet for my taste. It was not like the margarita I had last time which was the prickly pear and the best margarita I've ever had. Maybe it was the flights. Over all 10 out of 10, great food and excellent service. Thank you Derrick for making Maple Street the best location ever. ☺️
