“BEST Pupusas EVER! Gluten Free, no reaction from cross contamination. (They don't cook anything with gluten containing ingredients on their grill, griddle, or in the fryer.... just some baked goods, pastries, etc.) Vegetarian and Vegan Options. No lard in the beans, just corn oil and onions. Fridays during Lent additional veg Pupusa options, like spinach, squash, and jalapeno. The fried plantains are gluten free, and so good! Small, family owned and operated business. I felt safe eating there, they didn't get annoyed by my endless questions about gluten safety. Again, BEST PUPUSAS EVER! (The tortillas, corn tamales, beans, and everything else I tried so far have been excellent too.)“
“Ordered pick up and it was ready in 20 minutes like she said. We ordered two papusa plates and two sopapilla desserts. I must say, I was not expecting it to be so unique! Great flavor! I swear the bad reviews are from people who went in without the understanding that food changes based on geographic location and cultural influence. Welcome East Coast and thank you for sharing your food with us!“
“The pupusas here are next level ? We got pastelitos, too *chefs kiss*It's chill inside, spacious booths and nice tables. Parking is off street. It's in a weird spot off 24th & Leavenworth but I've never had a problem finding a place to park“
“If you’re looking for friendly people and great food in South O, this is the place to go! A small yet very cozy and clean restaurant is what you will find at La Choza. The menu includes combination plates with offerings like Pupusas, Tamals, and Tacos. If you’re in or around South Omaha you owe it to yourself to stop and enjoy the delicious food at La Choza!“
“A woman and her husband run this joint like a mom&pop shop and they’re the nicest! she cooks everything from scratch so everything is fresh- I have not tasted such well made pupusas anywhere around omaha like these, authentic fresh recipes all around! You can’t find this anywhere else in Omaha! Bring cash!!“
“This little restaurant has delicious Salvadorian food. They prepare a wide variety of pupusas. Their menu is provided in Spanish and English. The staff are welcoming and so kind and patient if you use your phone translator. Their breakfast is the best price around. The food is fast, fresh, and hot. It's a wonderful gem in the Vinton area.“
“QSGS is one of the most exciting restaurants I have discovered in Omaha recently, and it happens to be right down the street from my work. The food is absolutely delicious. I savored the carne asada. The fried cheese is delicious. The prices are not of this decade for the quality and quantity. The service was fast and friendly. Go try this place out. It is a gem. Plus, you can put gas and do a drive-thru carwash before or after your meal.“
