Seafood in the Midwest is often a questionable idea. However, this is one place I never give it a second thought. It’s a very basic interior with a café style dine in space along with a seafood counter for takeout. I recommend both!
The food is never disappointing at any of the Shucks locations! The Branzino was cooked in a wine lemoney sauce with cherry tomatoes. It was a very nice light meal that, while it didn’t include a lot of starch, left me satisfied and wanting to come back for more.Dungeness crab was cooked perfectly, sweet, meaty and succulent.

Another great experience this afternoon. I decided to "mix and match" and had the colossal shrimp cocktail, char-bbq wings, and a cup of gumbo. Everything was so good!! The gumbo was piping hot and full of ingredients, the shrimp were in fact colossal, and the bone-in wings were meaty and perfectly charred and flavorful. Want to go back next week and order the same items!
