Got the 8oz filet at the bar- was one of maybe 5 in the entire restaurant. Took almost 40 minutes and then brought out a tiny child’s steak they tried to pass off as a 8oz! I laughed and asked and the bartender said “oh but it’s thick”… I said there’s no way this is even remotely close to a 4-5oz steak. I have been fortunate to travel for work all over the country for years and have had a million steaks…I asked for medium and she never asked me if it was cooked properly and if I was happy, she just walked off. It was rare in the middle and well done on the outside. She wouldn’t make eye contact or ask me how it was, so I ate it knowing I would not be tipping- they actually charged me $59 for wrongly cooked 3-4 oz medallion. Very disappointed. Wine and mash potatoes were good. Never will return.

Meal was average at best. No bread was served. Signature salad was over dressed. Never offered cracked pepper for the salad. Steak Frites was a C rating. Asked for medium rare. Got medium. Fries were good. Martini was excellent which is why I did not give the place two stars. Skip it if in town. There are other places in Omaha that serve a better experience and meal.
We all appreciated the attention of our server and the quality of our meal. The ribeye was done to perfection and the Mac and cheese was about the best we've had. We celebrated a birthday and our choice for our meal added to making the celebration very special!

Ambiance/atmosphere - 10/10 Feels like a proper steak and chop house.Service - 9/10 Very friendly bartender. Wine and food knowledge could use some help, but overall she was very friendly and talkative, which as a traveler I appreciated.Food 3/10 - I had the chop salad to start. It was like they premade it for the evening, which made it a soggy, sloppy, mess. Way too sweet, and way too much vinaigrette dressing. Then it was on to steak and frites… Why did they completely cover the steak in over powering béarnaise? I scraped most of it off and the steak was good! Super tender, almost able to cut with a fork. The flavor of meat alone would have been great, if not for the béarnaise. Frites were fine, other than being served as a side vs same plate, to be eaten with the steak. Actually, why béarnaise and not a Demi-Glacé? And, no need for the aioli.

Went for Valentine's Day. Salad was good but then there was. 45 min wait for the steak. The steak was luke warm. Sweet potato fries were hot, tasted great and portion size was good. Had apple pie, was missing ice cream but server adjusted the ticket. Not sure I would go back.

Delicious food for steak and seafood lovers. The atmosphere has dark wood grain walls, appropriately spaced seating and an entrance from the Hilton Garden Inn too! The host stand doesn't immediately stand out if you've never been before. Bread and butter are complimentary and also quite tasty. Wonderful service and a friendly staff. The price is higher end but so is the food! Also, some of the best espresso I've ever had!

Came to town for the Eagles concert Spencer's came highly recommended and did not disappoint. We had a melt in your mouth steak and the truffle butter was a fantastic pairing. We will dine at Spencer's again.

Justin was our server and he was so awesome! He made the entire night so wonderful for my grandmas 80th birthday. As well as the rest of the staff. I hadn’t been to Spencer’s in years and I’m sad we haven’t been going back more often.
