The service was poor and the food was mediocre. The house Sangria's were full of Sprite and club soda no alcohol whatsoever. The chips were full of salt and crumbs from the bottom of the barrel. My salad did not have any salad dressing on it..... it was supposed to come with dressing but none was on it.

I was visiting Omaha for the weekend and was out walking and came across this place. Walking in the place is very appealing. The hostess was nice and out waitress Danielle was amazing. I ordered the mango margarita. My daughter got the white sangria. We sent both back. We stuck with water. I ordered the New Mexico wrap. The turkey was sliced luncheon meat with bacon, carrots, and lettuce. Very very dry and salty. My daughter ordered Sharon's chicken. The chicken was burnt and dry. The beans looked old. She sent it back and ate nothing. Not a good experience for these Chicago women. Try at your own risk....

There's nothing really wrong with the food as far taste and appearance. It's definitely a step above something like La Mesa or a typical chain Mexican restaurant. However, the prices do not reflect the meals. You're paying for top notch but receiving just above mediocre. If you like seafood, sushi, or burgers there is better options across the street where you get the bang for your buck. If you're downtown and only looking for Mexican, you won't be disappointed with your meal but will be by the bill.

Very meh food for a high price. Not worth the price for bland/ bad Mexican food. Sharon's chicken enchiladas were bland and mostly melted cheese. The rice had been sitting out so long it was hard and crunchy. Spend your money somewhere else.

I really wanted to love it here. It is well dressed and has an extensive tequila and cocktails menu. None wowed us when we ordered them which I would have expected for the price. There are lots of food choices and we tried 6 between 6 of us. All fell flat. It might have just been an off night? Our server was amazing but it wasn't enough to make us want to go back.

For the price of the food and how slow it was, the experience was not worth the prices. Service extremely slow, we finished are meals before we were checked on. Bun on chicken sandwiches extremely soggy, vegetables were so salty that they were undesirable. The garlic cream sauce lacked flavor, the best part of the meal was the salad with the vineagerette dressing on the salad. The server at the end did take care of us properly. She even took off the water.

Great Sunday Brunch and happy hour. Had a group of 15 they were able to seat us in just a few minutes. Great variety and service. Hells fire Bloody Mary is no lie!! Kids menu appropriate.

Stokes is great! Went in for Happy Hour & the food came out quick! I ALWAYS get the Summer Corn Chowder. It's the best soup EVER. I was a little disappointed the Mussels were removed from the menu... they were the best menu item!!! I would even chose Stokes over Plank across the street. The Old Fashioned was prepared perfect, & the nachos were AMAZING!!

Delicious food. Had the meatloaf and the chips and queso. 9/10 would definitely recommend. Watermelon Lemonade was amazing. Add the shot of Titos. It's so good. The service was a little slow, they did look like they were understaffed, but they were very polite. The table we were seated at was pretty sticky, so we did have to wipe it down.
Think this is a great place to take someone who wants to celebrate. Fun atmosphere, unique dishes. It’s an event!

I’ve eaten here several times while dropping off or picking up my daughter at Creighton. Always terrific, especially the tacos al carbon!Until last time.We ordered off the Happy Hour menu because, well, Happy Hour prices! Huge mistake. The food was worthy of a cafeteria. One that is about to close.Never again.

We were brought the wrong food which can be a easy mistake at times when the restaurant is busy, unfortunately we were 1 of 3 tables our server had and only 1 of 5 in the entire restaurant. The server also forgot about us and disappeared, it took us 20 mins to get the check. I had to get up and walk over to the bar and request it and not once were we offered refills on drinks during our hour at the table. In terms of food, I ordered the tacos carbon and I can assure you they a far from “award winning” the rice served with the tacos was hard from being over cooked. Overall 2/10 I suggest eating elsewhere Omaha has better choices for cheaper.

Today we enjoyed a great lunch at Stokes. Not sure about some poor recent reviews but we had great service and food. Everyone was happy with their meal. Maybe the guacamole cud have been spiced up a bit but it was fresh. I would recommend to a friend.

I truly enjoyed myself at Stokes. It was my first time there and I went for brunch. It was delicious by the way. Great atmosphere, wonderful customer service, staff were great, friendly, and hard working, drinks are delicious, and food was delicious as well. Great place to hangout with friends or date night with babe. Must go place ????
