Easily my favorite Mexican restaurant since their beginnings off the Benson strip. Incredible value in flavor, kind staff, and can’t-beat $3 margarita. Somehow they’ve been a secret- I can always get a table- but it’s too good to last much longer.

One of my very favorite places. $3 margaritas that are actually really good and amazing food. I can’t believe there isn’t a line out the door all the time, but I’ve never had to wait for a table.

Obviously they have their targeted demographic. I'll leave it at that. The food was ok, nothing great nor authentic. You always know a place when you ask for salsa and they reply with "we don't have any" and if they do it's hot sauce (tapatio, chalula, Louisiana, etc) lol. We tried it a while back so maybe they actually have salsa by now, but I highly doubt it. If you want good tasting and authentic, even Taco trucks/stands in south Omaha are way better than a lot of these places. But again for the demographic they are targeting, I'm sure it's the great and very authentic. I don't mean to be rude, which is why I still gave a 3 star, but its just my honest opinion as a hispanic individual. It's small inside but nice and being from the west coast I really liked the Chicano themed interior, especially with the blood in/blood out.

I recently stopped by this restaurant for the first time with my husband and one of his cousins. We had high hopes but it wasn't what we expected. We were the only ones in the restaurant for over an hour and our food still took over 25 min to arrive. It seemed like there was maybe only one person in the kitchen at first. A second person appeared afterwards, but at that point, we had already been there a while. It seemed excessive for being the only ones there. To make matters more disappointing, the food wasn't even that great. It wasn't "bad" but it also isn't something I'd have again. We gave it a try, but we all seemed to agree that the poor service and overall waiting time wasn't worth given the food we were served. To each his own, but I've had better Mexican food elsewhere.

Benson location is so cute and delicious! Great Mexican food that hits the spot every time. Can’t complain about the margaritas either. Not only is the food great, but the staff is super kind and speedy. Check this out!

To start off the waitress had trouble either listening or understanding, mind you, we were the only ones in the restaurant, with the music very low. Second she is asking a grown old man for an ID to order a beer. Like what? ?Next we ordered a burrito to go and waited over 20 mins for it with no updates on whether they are actually making it or not. Eventually we asked for the check, and she asked us if we still wanted it. ?Lastly we pay our check with cash and she still asks if we want our change, ? of course we do. Then she went to get our change from the next restaurant and we were short $0.73. We gave her $60 cash and she came back with only $5. Either she kept the change or can't count ?. I'm not one to complain but this was just bad, like it kept getting worse. Anyways y'all can go and try but just be careful ??. Also she didn't offer us chips or salsa but the to other customers she did ? and the " Salsa" she brought out was Tabasco and Valentina, like what???? ?

A Journey, A GuideChingon CevicheI almost passed on this dish. The tuna almost scared me away. I decided to venture out anyway. The excitement of this dish was more then anticipated. The flavor and heat balanced perfectly as it propelled me across the world to distant ports. A journey of flavor so rich that I had to order a fresh made tortilla to hang onto the experience for a few more delectable bites. With  Sarah as a quide this was truly a memorable experience. She knows her way around the menu and the bar. A talented guide that if you are daring enough to give her the chance, will leave you wanting to revisit this experience this escape week after week.

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. She was alone in front of the house but made it look effortless and we felt well taken care of. The margaritas were delicious!

Brandon was polite and attentive. And he warned me about the hot salsa. It's not a face-melter but I'm sweating in a good way. Heat still needs flavor and this has it!

$3 margaritas all day, every day. I ordered the sopeitos which were amazing. My wife had tacos which were also incredible. The nachos were also a hidden gem.

This place does not know Mexican food. Barbacoa is not pork; it's beef or goat. The Spanish is terrible for the menu, and the burrito was honestly tiny. The salsa was not good at all. Honestly I would not recommend.

If you want real tacos and can't make it south, this is the place to go. Their margaritas are also only $3. What more could you want?

EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD! We've been in Omaha (Benson neighborhood) for a few years (from Texas and Louisiana) and this place ROCKS! Great tacos and burritos, nice cold Mexican beer, and strong - but not harsh tasting - margaritas. The Queso Fundido is so good, I could eat an extra-large serving for my meal! The Elote and the Sope are also incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced. My wife swears by the Brussel Sprouts tacos (yes, it's true!) and I really enjoy the shrimp, pork sausage and skirt steak tacos. The burrito platter is exquisite as well. I can also recommend the Fajitas and the Quesadillas without reservation. The service is pleasant and helpful, and are wise enough not to hover over the table and becoming annoying. The Chef is a highly -trained (in Mexico) and makes everything while you enjoy your drinks. I haven't had a chance to taste everything offered, but plan to try. If you're looking for mass-produced Taco Bell fare, then go there. If you want to sample REAL Mexican food, this is your place. And if you get frightened because the restaurant is 'not busy enough' for your taste, or if you are so important and in demand you can't relax and wait a few extra minutes for your fresh (not microwaved) meal, try Taco Bell. This place is the APEX of AUTHENTICITY! Two Thumbs up and 10 Stars!
