My husband and I went to a comedy show in the old market and after went to dinner. We are not from Omaha and wanted to try something new. We came across Zio's and went inside. We immediately were asked if we were there "picking up". I said no, and the waitress seemed instantly annoyed. We were seated at a table and ordered two waters. My husband asked if they had a restroom and the waitress gave a snarky reply "yeah, we got one" and then just stood there. My husband had to ask again, "where is it?" and the waitress flung her arm over her shoulder and said back there. Shortly after that we placed our order and I had a question about the toppings on the pizza. I was given a look like I was stupid and a slight eye roll. I asked for half our pizza to not have tomatoes. That request was met with another eye roll as yhe waitress scribbled our order down and walked away without another word. About 15 minutes later our pizza arrived and my husband asked for a parmesan cheese shaker. The waitress was annoyed at the request and made sure to correct him and said, "it's ROMANO not parmesan". She brought the shaker over and left. The waitress did not return once to check on our meal or drinks. We ate quickly as it was clear the restaurant closing for the evening. We asked for our ticket and a box. Being a pizza place, we expected to get a pizza box to take the remaining half of our large pizza home.(other tables had been given pizza boxes to take their leftovers) The waitress brought us a small square Styrofoam box that we had to stack and cram our pizza in to fit. As we left the restaurant we couldn't figure out why the waitress was so annoyed and rude the entire time we were there. After checking the website we found out why- this location closes at 9:30 on Saturday and we arrived around 9:20. Again, we have never visited this establishment before, but saw the lights on, patrons eating, and it smelled delicious so we chose to go in and eat. This had to have been the reason for our servers distain and ire. We arrived while the business was STILL OPEN, ate quickly, and were out the door by 9:57 pm. If this establishment doesn't want to serve customers during their designated hours of operation they should have told us they were no longer seating customers and we would have understood and found a different establishment to eat at. I would have rather gone elsewhere than sit through the terrible attitude and service we received at Zio's. In case a manager sees this review, although we never were given our servers name - she is older (maybe 50's), short, blond hair with a pink glitter extention, and a terrible attitude.

Are here between games at the ncaa basketball tournament. Pizza was really good, great flavors and came out nice and hot. Only small critique (and definitely small) is the cheese and toppings came off a little bit when biting in to the pizza. Great visit and we liked both the pizza and the cake/ ice cream we got for dessert.

Ordered a XL pizza which was over $47 with tips and tax… I was expecting it to be really good, that when I got it… EVERYTHING SLID OFF!!!! It was so undercooked that I literally can taste the raw dough :( I had to let it cool for 40 mins and eat it cold so the toppings wouldn’t fall off.Not worth the $47 I spent. I wish I didn’t spend so much money on disappointing pizza. I want a refund, never coming back again.

Amazing Pizza and Calzones, the waiter repeated our order back to us, which was nice to double check for gluten and dairy free custom orders.

We love Zios but this was the worst pizza we have ever had. Absolutely no flavor & undercooked. We won’t be back to the downtown location.

For the price I expected more. It’s expensive and bland.

Ordered garlic cheese bread and specifically asked if it came with marinara sauce to which the sever answered yes. I had to go ask when it would come out after 20+ minutes of waiting. Once it got there, the server said “we ran out of marinara’”. Our pizza came and of course it barely had any sauce on it. How do you run out of marinara in a pizza joint? I want a refund. Do not go here!

The worst pizza I have ever had. Probably the worst restaurant. They forgot my order twice, waited over an hour for drinks. Finally got the pizza which was an undercooked mess (see pictures).

My partner and I went here after seeing all the good reviews. We were in Omaha for the night and wanted some good, local pizza. We were absolutely let down. It took ages to get seated and order, let alone wait for our food. The restaurant was FULL of screaming children, a few of whom just wandered over to our table and stared at us ominously? Our server, a poor girl who seemed to be running around helping while her coworkers just stood around, warned us about how long it would take for the food to come out. Even after a long wait, we at least expected the food to be decent. It was terrible. Soggy, barely warm pizza ($20 for a medium? For a price like that the pizza better be good) with absolutely no flavor and an appetizer (Which came AFTER the entree? For some reason?) of lukewarm garlic bread. I don't understand how they managed to make GARLIC BREAD BAD but they did. No flavor. Burnt. Definitely not worth the $5. Way too expensive for what you get. Honestly, I wish we'd just stuck with dominos or something better AND cheaper.

If you get a mini cheddar calzone be prepared for it to be wrong. My wife always orders it and it never has ground beef in it. Never again.

Delicious food but really bad service. I know they're trying their best, but I've been twice now (once about 7 or 8 months ago) and tonight, and the service has been consistently very, very slow. All that said, if you have a lot of time on your hands, visit Zio's for a good pizza.

Zio's definitely seems like a local favorite, especially among the metro working class. Multiple lunch menu options such as: Pizza slices, pizza & salad, fresh pasta & salad, etc. Friendly waitstaff who made sure you were happy with your choice and your food. Entertaining decor throughout that tie into their NYC roots. You can even grab a selfie with the lit up Statue of Liberty Great location in downtown Old Market. Walking distance to plenty of parking. Great spot for a NY slice!!

This place was great! Try the calzone, the crust melts in your mouth. The price was right and the service was fast and friendly. They even have a little extra pizza dough to give to your kids to play with while they're waiting. Cool idea
