The food here is pretty dang good for a small place. The kitchen dudes seriously have like a 10x10 area to crank out good stuff. I personally like the grilled ham and cheese. Its a great price for what you get! The staff is pretty friendly but hey everyone has bad days so you have to forgive and forget sometimes. The interior is the same it has been for quite some time. Down a little hallway between the pool table area and back area are the single person restrooms. Out the back of the building is the pretty spacious fenced in outside bar area. I think for the most part, you are on your own out there, but the main bar is only like 50ft away.

One person paid our tab without telling us, then we got served another tab. We were unaware of the situation, paid for the tab, and then left. When we found out what had happened, we had contacted the business. We have been fighting this issue for well over a month (January, it's now February). We understand that we messed up too, however, during this entire month, we have physically stopped in, called, and asked for a manager every time. Then we got told that the manager would contact us, which has never happened. We have done this multiple times and are fed up, and would like our $50 back. We really want to enjoy their business, but this is putting a wall up to enjoy it.

Nice local spot right downtown. Walking distance to the park, main street and shopping. Good variety of bar food, fast service and plenty of 'amenities'. Like music bingo, karaoke , keno or table top shuffle board? Stop by. Love it when they sponsor the local car show in the summer. Outdoor tent seating, food and drinks. Great atmosphere, great time!!

It is a quaint little local bar that, on Tuesday evening, was quite enough to carry-on a conversation. The staff was extremely friendly and constantly checked on us. Although food is served here, I didn't eat. I have heard that the food is tasty.

The owner has taken a real stance against children. With no backbone to actually face the mothers directly, they pressure their staff to come and order the children around. I felt sorry for the staff last night as they actually said "we don't want to do this, but we have been told off twice by the owner already", the child's crime? Placing more sand on the shuffle board, she actually became a little celebrity for the night by helping the players retrieve the pucks from either end. She harmed no-one with what she was doing and sat down watching most of the time. I'm sure it's a lovely place normally but taking an obvious stance against children (look at previous reviewers) will catch up with you very quickly.The staff are incredible people, we will be back, hopefully getting to meet the owner this time but not holding my breath.

We go frequently for the Thursday lunch special - prime rib. Delicious! And generous servings. Hubby gets the baked potato or steak fries, but I always substitute the onion rings (there's a $2 upcharge) because they are amazing and worth every extra penny. They also have prime rib on Friday evenings, but things are hoppin' then and we prefer a quieter atmosphere so we go for lunch. 5 stars for food and service (though you may have to be patient); 4 for atmosphere because this is an unassuming dine-in bar, not a fancy restaurant you'd choose for an anniversary dinner.
