I’ve had much better bbq at many other establishments. The brisket did not taste fresh and was likely made yesterday or even before that. The lean cut was dry and tough (should cut thinner slices). The point cut, although usually somewhat fatty, was more than normal at about a 50/50 meat to fat ratio. I had to trim a bunch off.The chopped pork was tender and juicy. When accompanied by the sauces it was even better. I really enjoyed the variety of sauces and they were some of the best i’ve had.The mac n cheese was creamy and decent as well as the cole slaw. The sourdough bread was dry and not fresh. The restaurant was also nice and clean.

This was the worst BBQ I have ever had for the price that we paid. We ordered the full rack of ribs with mac n cheese and fries and a 3 meat combo with hush puppies, baked beans and corn bread. The ribs were completely dry, to the point you had to scrape the meat off with your teeth. The brisket tasted like an overdone steak and was tough. The pulled pork had zero flavor and as far as the pulled chicken goes, I’ve had better at Hannaford for $6.99. Mac b cheese was meh and hush puppies were sub par. The only positives here were the french fries and the Haus IPAs we had. $85 for terrible overcooked and dry meat. We weren’t going to take home the leftovers because we barely ate it all, but I hate wasting so we took home the rack of ribs and we’re going to soak them in baby rays in the slow cooker for a bit to try and revive them.. This will be the last visit.

We were rather disappointed with this place, mostly because the meat was barely warm - not what we expected for dine in. The flavor was okay but nothing outstanding. The texture of the chopped pork was nasty - almost like a paste. The baked beans and coleslaw were good, though. The fries snd hush puppies were, unlike the meat, piping hot.Parking: After the heavy rains, a good chunk of the parking lot was covered with massive puddles.

Ate lunch today March 27th 2024. Ordered the brisket plate with two sides. Brisket was warm, dry and had to be old. Reheated many times. Service was good and friendly. Food was gross, especially for a $25 plate of brisket. Fries cold.

Food was dry. Ribs still had skin on the back. At 1 just lean brisket only beans were good. Would never go again even if it was free. Owner just walks around moving napkins versus saying hi or double checking service. Kcs ribshack is 15 min away people! As a business owner don't waste the money.

Stopped by there today for Lunch, 3-23-24, Disappointed with the food. I ordered Brisket and Pulled Pork, Hush Puppies and Beans. The Best part was the Beans. Brisket, bland, not much flavor, almost too tough. Pulled Pork, warm and also bland. I was looking to try other Barbecue Places, now I know that this Place for me is One and Done. The place was clean and well staffed, the Food just Sucks. Back to my Go To KC's.

Was not impressed. March at 1 pm. Only lean brisket and tiny ribs still had skin on the back. Mac n cheese was warm at best. Beans were tasty. Would not recommend if your not from around here go to kc ribshack. This is not a pit master. If it was good a few years ago it's not now.

Ordered the 2 meat plate with brisket (lean) and pulled pork. Both were delicious, as were the hand cut fries and mac and cheese. Service was friendly and quick. I'll definitely return!

I relocated to NH recently, and my wife and I are from the South and want to find good barbecue. I saw a lot of supportive comments for Smokehaus on Facebook and on this site, and drove an hour after work last night (Friday at 5) to pick up brisket and ribs and bring home. First of all, it's a cute place - it feels like a barbecue place and a place that I'd like to stop by driving around on a Saturday afternoon for a bite and beer. I felt service should have been faster for my order as it wasn't that busy...30 minutes to cut food that's been in the smoker all day. The sides were decent...tried the beans, hush puppies, collard greens and Mac. The biggest disappointment was the meat - ordered a full rack of ribs and half pound of lean brisket. It was overcooked...way overcooked. My wife pushed the ribs away after having two and commented that they were "drier than a popcorn fart". They've got great sauces, but sauce can't regenerate a mummy. My recommendation to the owners is to take them out of the smoker earlier, and do whatever can be done to keep moisture in the meat.
