All the tables were occupied and the staff were all super friendly. They had music playing and a line formed behind me. Everything was perfect. There were a few bar stools open while I waited. I got a latte, ordered a cold brew for my husband, and ordered two croissants, almond and nutella. Both were heaven. The almond had a delicious almond paste inside and the nutella was filled with the good stuff. My latte hit the spot. My husband apparently can't stop thinking about the cold brew, having said how good it was throughout the day. I'll be back for sure! I can't wait to try other items on their menu.“

“I found this place to be very inviting. It was my first time there and just be aware parking may be an issue if you go on a weekend day. I came for coffee beans and they have a good selection and priced well. I also bought a muffin and did not catch the price until it run up. It is pricey compared to others in the area but it is very good. Definitely a place to visit.“

That is so rare and I absolutely treasure that experience every time. They are amazing with other allergens as well! Their gf fried chicken is off the chain- my memories of 'normal' fried chicken cant even hold a candle. I usually get the gf sweet and spicy chicken sandwich with extra honey sriracha. “Battlegrounds is a cool little coffee shop right on the heart of downtown Haverhill. They have all sorts of fun coffee flavors and their own beans for sale. The baristas were very quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is a typical cozy coffee shop with couches and tables to choose from. We loved that we were able to sit on the couches by the window and watch it snowing while we drank our coffees (which were nothing too special, but were still good). We would come back here again if we were in the downtown Haverhill area.“

“I really love Pressed Cafe. I'm often a creature of habit when it comes to ordering food but here I love trying something new each time because everything is always so well made and tasty. Great service, staff and atmosphere.It can get pricey really quick but the food portions have made up for the pricing.Only downfall is that parking and tables are often full but that just goes to show how great the food and atmosphere is. “I have gotten bagels from all over I've been to some of the most famous bagel shops in New York City where you wait for hours in line for a bagel and this is the best bagel shop of them all. These bagels are so much more soft where you can still squash them around a breakfast sandwich or with smear of cream cheese in the middle. You can't go wrong with their breakfast sandwiches and you can't go wrong with their lattes either.My go to bagel smear is the jalapeno cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese.“

Not sure if they leak or just overfilled and when the lid is pressed on it gets coffee stuck on the rim underneath. “I thoroughly enjoy stopping in here when we have time. The pancakes tastes home made and the muffins are also incredible. The meatlovers omelet is the best omelette I've ever had. Meals might take a little while to prepare but it is worth every second of waiting. The home fries are chopped real potatoes, seasoned perfectly. The ice coffee stands out. A unique thing about their ice coffee is that they have ice cubes made out of coffee. As the cubes melt, the coffee does not taste watered down. They also have a whole station to weigh, fill bags of coffee bean and buy the beans by weight. It always makes my day when we make it to Coffee Coffee.“
“We had an excellent Easter brunch here today. It was my first time and apparently they don't usually require reservations, but did for Easter which we made a week or so back. We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted and seated right away by a very friendly server. Our beverage orders were taken right away - one vanilla latte and one chai latte. Both were great. Often I find flavored coffees too sweet for me, but this one was just right. For entrees we got the strawberry cheesecake stuffed french toast and croque madame as well as sides of bacon and chicken apple sausage. Both entrees were perfection and the sides cooked just the way I like them. Somehow the bread on the croque was noted by both of us as having just the right light crunch and the stuffed french toast was decadent. I'm not sure what the secret was, but some of the best bread either of us have had. The food came about 20 minutes after we placed the order. I mention this because it seems in reviews early on there are mentions of long waits, but we thought it all quite reasonable, especially on a holiday. It was neither too slow nor rushed feeling. The place is very cute and we had a great view from the window, so any time waiting was very enjoyable. A couple of people showed up without a reservation and the very nice server actually went to talk with the owner/chef and kindly opened an extra table for them. I noticed they got the challah french toast which looked great and was apparently delicious. I'm wondering now why I waited so long to try this place - hoping to be back again soon.“

I stopped going to the dunks down the road because they kept messing my order up and are rather rude.
