Great for my diet. I've gone in here a few times, but never gotten anything. The selection is just so bad that every time I go in looking for a classic pastry, they don't have it or anything similar. Why do they have pastry in their name if they don't make anything but cake? I went out of my way today having forgotten why I never get anything and came in to a mostly empty display case. So either they sell out fast or they don't bother.

Ok so I have ordered from this place multiple of times... Only for cakes... So I can't review on any other item... They did my wedding cake which came out just how I wanted and wonderful. They have made specific cupcakes for certain events... The pictures don't do justice there animal toppers come out so good. Elephant, mice, reindeer, spider.... And as shown in photos... As for taste... I always get the vanilla with chocolate fudge frosting and not only is it on top it's in the middle... So good but so rich. My sister loves the chocolate one and my friend loves the red velvet. Really great place with nice people... Why did I only give four stars then.... Because of price... Yes, one cupcake is $5 but you know what it's worth it for holidays... With the inflation and all its tough on everyone... I will buy cupcakes from this place every year for my family because they love it that much. Don't go here if you are looking for cheap cupcakes... That's at market basket.

I've tried giving them a few chances the past couple years for my children's cakes this year they don't do fondant and the cake is dry every time and taste like thick paste and Fredericks did nothing about it for the third year in a row. Very disappointed I am definitely taking my business somewhere else.

It starts with someone rude taking your order. A vanilla birthday cake that cost over $60! The middle was sinking in..! The cake was dry with no flavor and the frosting tasted like lard. It's been a long time since I've been that disappointed in a purchase. Look elsewhere.

After ordering cakes twice a year from this bakery for over a decade, we are done. Third strike and they are out. The first problem was in 2015-we ordered an Curious George cake and it was pretty horrific looking. It was actually embarrassing it looked so bad. I asked for a refund and not only did they not refund me the whole amount, they gave me a hard time about that as well. We left and went somewhere else the following year. We hesitantly decided to give them a chance again in 2018 and we had a huge problem with an agreed upon order that they said they didn't have time for. We left again and went back in 2021 (stupidly) but surprisingly got great cakes. Ordered again in 2022 with no issues. Fast forward to 2023 and they can't uphold their end of the bargain again on making a cake for us. We've been told it's "Wedding season" And they are now too busy. In October?! Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought wedding season was spring, summer and early fall? We have now learned- that they don't keep their word and "Marlene" is very difficult and rude to deal with. Jacques it is going forward. (or any number of others that will happily take our money and keep their word). Signed a (repeatedly) dissatisfied customer who won't be spending their money here any more.

My wife and I have been ordering from Frederick’s for a few years now. They honestly have the best gluten-free cake. We drive over an hour to pick up because we love it so much. They keep us coming back. Thank you for making gluten-less cake taste gluten-filled!

I sincerely discourage anyone with allergies from coming here. I asked about the allergens, I was told they were sure the product was free of said allergens, only to have an immediate & terrible allergic reaction as there were, in fact, said allergens present. I am of the opinion that every staff member should be fully aware of any and all allergens present in their products, & if they are not privy, I don’t think they should be assuring customers otherwise. I spoke with someone on the phone who relayed “there are definitely” said allergen in the product I purchased. I’m disappointed in how the situation was handled from start to finish, and am further disappointed to have spent the rest of my day VIOLENTLY ill. Educate your employees please to ensure no one else has such a terrible experience.

Ordered a birthday cake online. Paid for the cake online as well. I went to pickup the cake and was told I need to pay additional money bc the gold cardboard the cake sits on had to be slightly larger so “happy birthday” could be written on it. I’m a repeat customer. This was very poor customer service. After 20 years of buying from Fredericks I need to say I won’t be back. Talk about nickel and dime your customers.

Went there today looking for a cheesecake. Most of the display shelves were empty. Discouraging. The three people in the front were too occupied talking and complaining about another guest's order. I didn't get acknowledged even though I was given eye contact, twice; until after they finished their conversation.No cheesecake and blah and unapologetic attitudes from the front. The gentleman in the store seems sweet.

I purchase the same cake for my wife's birthday, we had several people over. This cake was half the size in past years yet the price increased. Yes it's a 3 layer, the cake layers were was barely a 1/2 and I'm being generous and colors are not what I ask for. The cake last year was perfect. $48 for a small cake. I dont think so. Taste was okay, nothing special. Time move on, save your money.
