A great atmosphere. It was nice getting delicious quality beers in the wilderness away from crowded cities. Looking forward to visiting again!

Great beer, great staff. Top that off with a very cool location and you get that special kind of place that is Canterbury Ale Works.

Unique to say the least, but don't miss this hidden gem

Hands down, my favorite brewery. Great beer, great atmosphere, and the regulars are quite the crüe.

Delicious beer, makes you feel like you are in a London hole in the wall pub. Don’t be afraid of the dirt driveway

One of a kind! You capture the essence of life here in NH. That’s why all my out of state friends insist on coming back up to see you!

Amazing beer selection. Cozy indoor and outdoor seating options. They allow you to bring your own snacks, for example the smoked nuts or beef jerky from the Fox Country Smoke House in Canterbury.

My husband and I found this brewery while we were staying at an inn nearby. We were intrigued. The setting is so remote and unique. The owner, Steve, is a one man show. He is super friendly and personable. We loved the range of beers he has. The have a lovely outdoor seating area if weather permits. We especially enjoyed the Raspberry sour and the porter. We highly recommend visiting if you are in the area!

This amazing, charming, enchanting brewery is Disneyland for people who love extraordinary beer. From the second you drive up the dirt driveway and see this precious space, you are transported to a different world. The sound of the water as you walk down the stairs, into an Irish Pub that transports you into a distant time and place. You then meet the wonderful, welcoming patrons that immediately make you feel like you’re part of the Canterbury Aleworks family. And then you meet Steve; The owner and brewmaster, who is easy-going, welcoming and delighted to answer any and all questions about his wonderful place and his incredible beer. They all made us and our Golden retrievers feel so very welcome. We opted for several tasters, and every single one was incredible. Steve, the owner, truly pours his heart and soul into every beer he makes and you can taste it. if there’s a heaven on earth for beer lovers, Canterbury ale Works is it. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough. It deserves more than five stars.

I've been to a lot of breweries, this was by far the coolest I've been to. Beers were good, with lots of different styles. Can't wait to go back.

This is not your typical brewery and don’t expect your typical beers. Not only is the location unique but Canterbury likes brew all sorts of rare styles. It’s the place to go to explore beer and taste something you haven’t tasted before. It’s an adventure.

Really fun and intimate atmosphere. Not conducive to large groups due to limited space but charming and a good selection of beer with flights available.

Fantastic beer selection - many European style beers! My favorites include: Coddiwomple, Canterbury Ale, Dinna Fash, Big Ben, and Granite Ledge Stout

What a unique brewery! I wish there were more places like this. Even if you don’t drink beer, I’d recommend coming here- but keep an open mind. This isn’t your average bland and boring brewery. It’s in an old(?) mill building that seems like it’s still operating during the week. The indoor brewery space is tiny but funky. I liked some of the beers more than others but I always give a brewery a lot of credit for having brews that are out of the ordinary. You won’t find a brewery with more character in the area. At least I haven’t yet.I’ll definitely be back.
