Been a few different times and have always enjoyed it. Is always delicious. There was some confusion the last time I visited and orders the hibachi grill. When ordered in the past, they have always given me the dinner entrée portion size and the last time I went, there was a miscommunication, especially on the menu between lunch version and entrée version. Make sure to ask your weight staff about portion size. Great ambience, enjoy the little rooms that they offer. Will definitely be going back.

We used to love Moritomo but live an hour away. Last week, I came with my husband at about 6pm, and the hibachi tables were empty. They still offered to make us the meal there, but we didn't get the usual show with volcano, catching drink in mouth or vegetables. (We're in/over our 50's.) The sauce was also split. Then we went back last night at 8:15 pm and the hibachi room was also empty. This time we brought my mom, at we had 3 people. Did get volcano, but drink and vegetable again didn't happen. He actually saved the vegetable out, but then tossed it. I was watching the show and being vocally appreciative, hoping this would lead to more interaction, but no go. He then dumped a lot of brown sauce on all the proteins, from steak to shrimp to scallops. No point in using the small amounts of sauce doled out. The restaurant closes at 9, so I asked for the bill then, but since my husband was in the bathroom, they decided to wait till he came back, and then some. Meanwhile, all the staff was in the same room, putting on their jackets, etc. (after some having sat in the same room watching us eat the whole meal). We decided to just get up, which prompted the bill then.Sorry to say this may have been our last visit.

I had not been to Moritomo in years. It was one of New Hampshires original sushi restaurants. I am said to say the restaurant is now not worthy of a visit. The sashimi was not fresh, the menu dated and difficult to navigate. Many of the rolls listed the fake crab never used in quality sushi. The sushi bar itself was not properly cleaned. The presentation of the plate was unappealing. We did bring our complaints to the attention of the staff, but the owner or manger was said not to be available.

The sushi was great, my wife and I enjoyed sitting at the bar. Had a pleasant conversation with another patron as well as the Su Chefs and our waiter. Would really like to come back and try out their rooms with the sliding doors. Overall it was a great experience loved the art on the walls and general ambiance of the place.

Good Japanese food in New Hampshire! If you find yourself not feeling up to visiting Massachusetts and instead want to eat some local Japanese food, certainly check out Moritomo. They are well known as the best Japanese food in the state. I have been here twice so far and each time has been a hit. You can tell how loved this restaurant is by the line that forms, even in the cold weather before they open for dinner! Both their sushi and hibachi are delicious, and that is from somebody that typically isn't a big hibachi fan. I look forward to visiting more often, this place and staff are certainly a win. They have multiple ways to dine, sushi bar, table, hibachi, or tatami mat, but the mat must be reserved in advance.

Delicious , fresh sushi as usual ! My favorite sushi spot in the area. It wasn't crowded upon getting there on a Sunday at 530. Service was okay , but definitely didn't blow me away. Overall, it was a good visit but next time will do a private booth as restaurant seating area is a bit crunched in.

Food was really good. We tried several appetizers and ordered the hibachi as our mains. We sat in one of the private rooms while there, and it was delightful. I will say that we were told, on busy nights, private rooms are not allowed to order hibachi. So, keep that in mind.

Went in today for Hibachi! Was greeted and seated right away! Staff is friendly and fast! Checked out the menu as it was a first visit for us! I had the steak & Shrimp w/ fried rice hibachi & husband has the Shrimp and Scallops and fried rice! I had the mushroom soup and he had a salad! This was one of the best hibachis we have been to since leaving the midwest! Food had amazing flavor and was amazingly fresh! Small intimate place! Perfect for a special date night!

Super run of the mill dining experience, with subpar food for a hibachi. Not to mention 1/3 of a lobster tail is lobster and they'll give a 1/3 of your filet to someone who didn't pay the extra for the tiny lobster portion. Overall portions are small, good isn't even average..... But the prices certainly are! Look elsewhere for a quality hibachi experience.
