Passing through. Jees. Bar tender clearly not happy with his job. Atmosphere non existent. I heard this was a happening place years ago. Time for new management unless there is an intentional - this is now a local watering hole and locals only strategy is being employed. Won’t

I’m a tourist visiting North Conway as a tourist on our family of 15s annual ski trip. My dad visited horsefeathers restaurant with my son in an attempt to get a table for our family. My son is 16 and has autism. He was waiting for my dad while my dad got a beer. My son was spoken to by a man named “BJ” who asked him to move spots where he was standing. After asking him to move and my son being confused as to where to go, the server asked my son “do you even understand what I’m saying?” In an extremely demeaning and inappropriate manner. After hearing about this, I went in to speak to the manager, to which I was told there was none there. I then was directed to the server directly, who after informing him of my son’s diagnosis, pointed to his face and said “this is my caring face. I’m going to sleep like a baby tonight. I don’t know what to tell you, I have an 11 year old who does what he’s supposed to do.” Another older gentleman with white hair and glasses came over claiming to be a manager, so upon asking for his name, he said “well we’re all managers here”, who promptly told me he’d be happy to call the police on me. My complaint about this restaurant isn’t about the food, but about the lack of human decency. I will never support a business that employs people who lack kindness. Maybe some further personal training is needed at horsefeathers. Without it, it’s simply a default restaurant in the center of town where tourists go to out of lack of other options.

Delicious "North Conway" burger. Love the unique fat chip fries. Winter warmer drink and Ragtime were delicious. Good vibes. Drinks a little pricey. One bathroom for the whole place a bit annoying.

Went there for lunch after the Santa train ride. We were celebrating our granddaughters 10 th birthday. I was holding a box from a bakery when we all walked in. We were seated by the hostess. After waiting at least 20 minutes to have our drink order taken the hurried waiter moved the box from the end of the table and placed it on the bench seat next to our 5 year old granddaughter ( more likely to end up on the floor there). He never inquired about the contents of the box. In the meantime he questioned an elderly couple who were sitting at a booth behind us if in fact the hostess had really seated them because they didn't have a drink menu. He finally took our food order, again never mentioned the bakery box. Food came, not that good either. At the end of the meal I asked him if he would bring some small plates and extra napkins for cupcakes and he went off on me. He demanded to know if I had permission to bring in outside food and how they don't allow it. After he continued to berate me he brought some plates which I told him he could keep. It was a an expensive miserable lunch. Felt like his behavior ruined her party. We have since returned to Florida where we have recently relocated. We will be up again to visit home again this summer but you can bet Horsefeathers will not be on the agenda.

Have been going to Horsefeathers for over 30yrs and loved it! This Saturday the rudest old lady hostess ‘created us’. Got seats at the bar and the 2nd old lady behind the bar barked at us rudely. Needless to say we immediately left!!!!

Great family dinner at Horsefeathers! We've been coming here for years, the portions are large for both food and drink. The service is really great, very attentive staff!! Keep in mind it'll get busy on the weekends around dinner time so plan ahead.Very popular!

Clean sports bar and restaurant located central to downtown N. Conway. Our server was great and the truffle fries were awesome. Food was typical bar fare, great chowder too! If looking to watch a game, definitely a great place to catch it.

We went in on 1/26/24 to have a drink and watch the Bruins. We were met by a very rude hostess that treated us extremely poorly. We were so disappointed that we left and went to Hooligans and met a group of people who asked us if we just came from Horsefeathers because they had and had a similar experience, so they left as well. The doors were shut for Covid maybe they should never had opened back up! Would never step foot in there again.

25 mins sitting at the table till we could order drinks. Ordered nachos, after 45 mins they came out with the middle cheese still ice cold. Don’t bother coming here unless your want a waitress with an attitude and cold food.

Stopped in for a meal with my family of six. Did not wait to be seated. This was a plus as our first choice was an hour wait on an late Sunday evening. That was the only plus. Our meals were served less than two minutes after our loaded nachos landed on our table. The food was mediocre at best and there was an item ordered but not served (thankfully it never made it to our bill. The server realized it as we were cashing out. None of the beef orders were served to temperature. Pretty disappointed with both the food and service. I did still leave a 20 % tip despite the above. Will not return on our next trip.

Bartender not attentive at all hostess continually counting seats at bar. Pushing you out the door. Would look elsewhere for drinks and food. I would rate this place a negative 10!!!
