This WAS one of my fave places. We would attend the Ice bar event yearly when it was offered. We stop in every time we are in the area for a cocktail in the library. Unfortunately we tried stopping in for a cocktail this weekend. They open at 4:30. We got there at 4:33 & we were turned away. The hostess looked over her shoulder & stated they were full. Did not try to accommodate 2 of us adults whatsoever. She said people come in & sit down to reserve these spots before they are even open. She was annoyed by this. Which I get but do something about it. This is poor management. Why would this be allowed. People claim seating an hour or half hour prior to open time & sit there all night. She asked if we had a dinner reservation. So maybe if that were the case she could have found us 2 spots. The library had plenty of seating. There were tables with empty chairs maybe a party of 2 sitting at a low cocktail table with 4 chairs. They were not using all 4 seats. There were spaces along the wall bench seating. My husband & I are both in the hospitality business & this seems to be poorly managed. I'm sad to say we will not be returning to one of my favorite spots.

New owners Theresa and JJ have done an amazing job continuing the hospitality and quality of the Manor. Have been there the last few weekends and the Martini's are still a " must." Looking forward to their continued success.

Wonderful evening, of elegance - every July 4th. I've owned a Timeshare at Attitash since 1988. We always do an evening there.

We just left the 2023 New years dinner!! $99 each for the dinner as advertised. When you get the bill, they added the tax and the free salad for $11 that was offered to given us for free. One meal had the filet mignon and the other was lobster pie. The meat was just prime rib with sauce over it. Total of $12 dollars with of food, tax, cold mashed potato's, 3 small stuffed mushrooms and a sangria that we couldn't drink because it was so bad. The waitress wasn't much better. I think McDonalds would have been better: honestly. This from someone that eats out all the time and can afford anything! Sorry Stonehurst Manor!!

I would give a zero star if that was an option, find yourself another venue, the wedding we recently went to was terrible. The food was not good, the rooms were not clean and need to be renovated. And the town houses are dumpy.

We love the place because of the excellent meal plan and its proximity to North Conway town, and adjacent areas. We make some allowances for its age, however. Some updates to the room furnishings and structure are very much needed.

We have stayed in just about every country inn and bed and breakfast in the Jackson/Intervale area, and had wanted to try something different not in the heavily trafficked area of North Conway, so we booked one just one night in the Stonehurst Manor in NH's "shoulder season." Avid xc skiers and outdoors people, this time we were just going north for a quick getaway in search of fine dining (a rarity in central NH right now) and comfortable, high-end lodging. Stonehurst Manor was a 5-star experience for the dining and library tavern, but just a 2-star experience for the room. The food and service from check-in to check-out is spectacular and definitely worth the price that we paid. The time spent in the tavern before dinner was some of the best "quality time, " we'd had in the White Mts this year. However, the room we booked (10), looked nothing like the ones I researched on the web site. I knew we weren't booking the most luxurious room, and that we'd have to go outdoors to get to the main building, but with a name like "manor, " and photos that showed wing chairs and a nice decor even in the Mountainview building for the all-inclusive price, I was shocked when we opened the door at the end of long walkway overlooking the grounds and another hotel on the Main Street. Room 10 is Spartan, to say the least and not worthy of being included in a place with the name "manor, " or described as an "inn." The only furnishing that is true to the description on the web site is the four-poster bed that appears to be a cheap knock-off that creaked with every move one of us made during the night. The mattress was comfortable, and the water hot in the 1970s era tub bathroom. All the furniture was "worn, " with nicks, and any decor sad in the depressingly monotone room. That all said, "Will we return?" Yes, because the dining and the ambience in the manor, itself, is worth it, but we won't be booking an economy "Mountainview" room. (Btw, you have to go outside to see "the mountain" through the trees. We had a better view of the maintenance building.)

This business does not even deserve a one star. I give a Zero star rating for venue, for the restaurant, for the Inn and for unprofessional management/owners. I don’t think they are any different from the old owners and management.

Spent the weekend, had originally planned to bring our puppy so reserved a room in the wing. was nice bath a bit dated. Food was terrific. Our waiter, Ben, was awesome. Great value for the price that included breakfast and dinner.

Went for our second time to celebrate our birthdays. What a disaster! Dinner was subpar, lamb was cold and mashed potatoes had a dried skin on them, roasted cauliflower was charred, mussels in tomato broth was more like a tomato sauce and gross. The promised garlic toast points one would use to dip in the broth was underneath it all and nasty. Crab cakes were fishy and accompanying sauce was unappealing. Crème brûlée was more than half comprised of a think shard of table sugar so torched that it was in breakable and had to be picked off in one thick piece. The only saving Grace the dinner was having a wonderful server named Ben!!! Breakfast was a burnt mess of carbon and cold toast. Our room looked wonderful!! #9 in the Mountain View wing had a covered porch and a gorgeous view but that’s where it ended! Our bed has visible spilled Ave dried liquid on the side of the bed. The decorative pillows were so pretty but only covered the body fluid stains on the quilt underneath. But wait it got better!!!! Once we folded back the sheets and quilt we were graced to find that out bed linens had not been changed since the last person slept in them. They were visibly crossed with sleep marks and wrinkles, completed by pubic hair, glitter, dirt/sand, dog hair and stains. Our call to front desk on my cell phone because there are no house phones was answered by the same sweet guy who had checked us in. He was horrified for us and distraught at having to tell us he would find us some clean linens but because house keeping left hours ago I wild have to remake our bed on my birthday! He apologized more times then I could count and was truly a gem. Needless to say when we were woken up by fire alarms at 7am, because someone started the fire in the library fireplace but did not know anything about dampers, and then our much looked forward to breakfast, comprised of burnt carbon home fries, blackened thick bacon, burnt grease tasting omelet and cold toast washed down with jet fuel coffee that even my Army Veteran husband found horrendous and undrinkable, was a fail we opted to check out a day early and go home! Unfortunately has we known the manor had been sold in July we would not have gone. They had a great thing going but the new owners are just in over their heads. Such a shame… I don’t see it laying for long at this rate ?

Stonehurst Manor is a great place to stay in N. Conway and the location is ideal. Staff are all very friendly and courteous and very helpful at all times. Having dinner and breakfast included is a nice perk and getting a room with a fireplace in the Manor adds to the wow factor for us!

Beware of the advertising. Look at the specific photos of the specific room you select. Some of the rooms were pretty. Ours was not pictured and was horrible even though the advertising says all rooms are elegant. This was to be a highlight of our vacation but ended up bad.
