Traveled all the way to NH. Lobster is a staple here. Unfortunately when I went here they didn't deliver a perfectly cooked meal. Disappointing.

The interior was gorgeous, beautifully decorated. The service was prompt and inviting from the host to the waitress. We ordered a small couple bites- Calm strips, Lobster roll and the Lobster stew. The calm and the Lobster tasted amazing. However the lobster stew I received was not done properly and i recommend taking it off the menu. It was a cup of butter,milk and lobster....was not supposed to come out like that

I had higher expectations. The restaurant was mildly busy for a Saturday evening. Co-workers and I had dinner, three of us ordered fisherman's combo, which could have been hotter for my liking. Table was small for 4 ppl. Price per portion was fair. Wine/drink menu should be on the table or given out when menu is, had to ask for it. We will return just the same!!

Homely restaurant that is slightly out of the way but serves really delicious seafood.Had the fried fisherman's combo that was a huge portion. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the seafood as I bit through the batter. Also had lobsters that were cooked in flavourful buttery sauce.As they only take reservations for big groups, had to walk in and wait. It's totally worth the wait!

Our first visit, so we reserve the fifth star for now. Arrived between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on a Sunday for a late birthday lunch.Atmosphere was cozy, and, it being early, customers were few. We were seated near a gas fireplace in the bar, which was warm & comfy and was served by a very nice, attentive young man.The menu highlighted mostly seafood and Italian cuisine, though the outside signage suggested steaks - didn't see the latter on the menu. I had their shellfish stew (similar to ciopino) over "linguini," and my partner ordered "broiled" haddock. Mine was pretty good - the marinara was tasty & not too acidic, but the pasta was supposed to be linguini - it was mixed spaghetti. The "broiled" haddock was covered in breadcrumbs in a dish with a butter sauce (that's BAKED whether you stick it in a broiler or not). The salad seemed to have been previously frozen.It might have just been the day we were there that things were mixed up, so there was enough positive to give it another try. Certainly, their small parking area is usually full. I'm hoping it's not just the bar that keeps people coming back.
