You have to be a special kind of yuppie, fully detached from reality to enjoy this place. I'm sure tote-bagging boomers trying to find kitsch to slap on the walls of their soulles vacation properties, or their drug-addled epic pass holder hipster trustfund babies find place amazing.Go across the street to that little Cafe on the second floor. Screw these people

Such a pleasant surprise to see that many plant-based options are offered here. I ordered the vegan saco breakfast sandwich and loved it (the guac is such a nice touch). The latte I ordered was also exquisite, and definitely the best coffee I tried while in North Conway. Impressive quality overall!

Pretty little shop with sidewalk seating and charming interior. Pricey, but food was good.

Great experience! Ate at 2 different locations and both were very good. Quality and selection of food and drinks were the best!

The latte I had was excellent. They had several gluten free options. It is a little more expensive than I was expecting, but it was still very good.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

Nice place that is always busy. Their hot chocolate was just ok and I did not like their gluten free donut but my daughter did.

The manager should make a note that the price for cade auit lait on the board is not the price on the register. The clerk told me that the board was very high up and they hadn't had a chance to change it yet.Unfortunately that's not NH law. Posted price is what you are supposed to pay.Just a minor annoyance and their food and coffee is always great the service is always smiling.I paid the new prices but they really need to change the board.

My favorite coffee shop of all time- if I lived in the area I would be a regular! We come to The Met 2 to 4 times every vacation. The staff are amazing and service is fast. Food does take between 10-20 minutes usually. Drinks are done in under 5. During busy times in town (weekends and holidays) this shop can get really busy but worth it! I liked to go during quiet times and get a drink then read a book. There's a few different areas to sit and relax. It makes for a good place for a date, quick lunch, or even to get some work done. My favorite sandwich is the Thanksgiving sandwich- tastes just like Thanksgiving day! Lots of different types of drinks including coffee, lattes, Italian sodas, apple cider, lotus drinks and more! There is really something for everyone here.

I was looking for a hot drink on a cold day. Hot apple ? cider with caramel hit the spot! I bought a huge Glazed cider doughnut to go. Their doughnuts are better than Dunkin! Lots of pastries to choose from. Very interesting menu.Friendly service where they take your name ? for your order and call it out when ready. There is a dining area upstairs. Prices are reasonable for the area and with inflation."I shall return!" I want to explore the menu more so I can have more experience to comment on.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free ? available.Parking: It depends on what time of day. There is a lot of street parking ?️ and a parking lot a short distance away. But, there is a lot of traffic as well.Kid-friendliness: Children are welcomed but depending on how busy it is, you may have a challenge finding seating inside.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ♿ accessible on the first floor.

I've lived here for 20+ years. They served us the Thanksgiving sandwich on toasted cranberry ciabatta *stone cold.* The real issue was how the staff handled it, specifically the cashier. The description on the menu is "in-house roasted turkey breast sliced and served on a bed of warmed cranberry herb stuffing with cranberry aioli." Description definitely has the word "warmed" in it. My dad brought the food over to our table and we could feel through the paper wrapping that they were cold.I took our sandwiches straight back to the cashier and asked if they could please be warmed up. Simply all I asked. Cashier started arguing with me about whether or not I asked for them to be warmed up when I ordered them. I said, my dad ordered these sandwiches, not me. We would just like them warmed up, please. Simple ask. Simple solution. No need to argue. The nice young man working in the back in the kitchen did me a solid and threw them into the toaster oven. I am annoyed that my dad tipped $5 for $35 worth of food and coffee and then we got treated this way. I also ordered a pastry, and they asked me if I wanted it warmed up, and they handed it to me nice and room temp, not warmed up at all.I have lived here since I was a teenager and we love to support local business. My family runs a local business too. But I can't say that we will be back.
