I had to ask waitresses name. Then server dropped check as soon as we started eating. Not worth $100 tab

This place is HORRENDOUS. I'd give it zero stars if it allowed. Linda and Brandon from 2 Home Cooks were booked to cater my sister's bridal shower on Saturday, 04/01/2023 and they CANCELED 4 DAYS BEFORE by emailing me on Tuesday, 03/28/2023 saying they're understaffed. Shortly thereafter they post on FB saying they're closing for a couple weeks because they need some "R&R". Mind you, they committed to this in January. I'm completely blown away by how terrible their customer service is. Take all the rest and relaxation you need, Linda and Brandon. Clearly you some time to reevaluate what it means to run a business. Maybe during your 2 week hiatus you'll discover that by conducting business in this manner only makes you look foolish and incompetent. Enjoy your vacation. And to anyone reading this review- take your hard earned money elsewhere. The following local restaurants Two Bees, Harvey's Bakery, or Gallivant are delicious and would surely welcome your business, because it's clear 2 Cooks doesn't need it.

Had breakfast yesterday here and, as always, the food and the service was top notch! It was so good I had to go BACK for lunch!Great place. Great vibes. Great food. The wait staff is particularly welcoming, kid friendly, and always greets me with a smile (Lianne is amazing!). They are the reason I keep coming back.#bestDoverbreakfast

If you wanna get taken to cleaners for small portions and average food this is your place. The picture is a 6$ dipping cup of "side" of sausage gravy.

I wish there was less then half a star. The waitress was beyond rude. She argued with us about an upcharge on "sharing" a meal with our 5 year old child. Who ate like 2 bites. She didn't even bring us another paper plate for him (what they serve their food on) Then proceeded to tell us every restaurant does this which in fact is not correct. Potatoes were something they scraped off the bottom of the pan burnt and inedible. Please stay away from this place. $50 for two breakfast plates only 2/3 of the food was edible. We left a tip. It certainly wasn't deserved though!

When they first opened, they were top notch. Since our last few visits, we noticed the quality of food has slipped .... Hopefully the worked it out

I tried to give 2 Home Cooks another chance. The last couple of times I went there were service problems. One of the times the table next to us, seated after us, was served first. The waitress looked horrified, and our food promptly came out cold. She blamed the kitchen. It's been a while, so I thought we would try again, after driving all the way to Tuckers and finding an hour wait. Plenty of time to see if 2HomeCooks had tables... They did. Plenty of open tables. Mostly open tables. And 3 people sitting around waiting for who knows what, because when I was delayed paying for parking, they refused to seat my wife, who could have gotten our drink orders started. I get the 'whole party' thing, but really, in a mostly empty restaurant? Maybe my combined experiences explain this tragedy. Their food was actually pretty good and their prices competitive.

Food and service was great... If you're going there to use your taste dining out deals purchase a while ago. Don't bother, they don't take them anymore...

I ordered from DoorDash. The food was still warm the home fries were out of this world to die for. The best home fries I have ever had. Overall my breakfast was very yummy!

We took a gamble on 2 Home Cooks despite some poorer reviews online that are older. We opted for delivery and maybe that's where we went wrong? I ordered the Buiscuts and Gravy and was disappointed. For a 3 dollar upcharge to add a scrambled egg, I would have hoped that there would be more substance to a breakfast meal costing $16 that doesn't include tax or gratuity. Adding in those factors this meal comes to about $20. The photos displayed on the website of their buttermilk Buiscuts makes them look more appetizing than they are. Unaware of if their recipe has changed or not for the buiscuts but I didn't get a light fluffy one as I was hoping. Instead I got a very tough exteriored buiscut that was lacking any flavor. The gravy itself was pretty good.My fiance ordered the chicken and waffles and requested egg on the side (another upcharge) and didn't receive it. He did state that the meal itself was good though.I understand the rising cost of food, labor, and delivery however I just didn't find this to be worth it today. I'm hoping that a sit down experience in the restaurant for the future would hopefully prove as better.

Just moved to the area, waited 50 minutes for subpar food; overcooked eggs, cold undercooked potatoes and toast, frozen food items: "chicken". Food prices are too high for the poor quality. I usually eat everything or take it home. Not this time, food left in the plate for the restarant to trash. I had seen several other parties that had also left food on their plate and hardly anyone took a to go containet.Played loud dance music the whole time, children in the kitchen and within the restaurant; appeared to be wait staffs kids. Just not how I'd like to spend my time, money, or appetite. They may not have control over the price of goods, but they do have control over quality, service, and atmosphere. Will not be returning. Sorry. Maybe Gordon Ramsey can help?

Excellent food and service.Generous portions.

I ordered the best omelette I've had in ages. I subbed a biscuit for toast. They rival my biscuits. I'd come here anytime I'm in the lovely town of Dover.
