the photo will be my extra cream coffee, I have window tint so idk how it'll look but I've tried this coffee like 5 times and it's just water and cream and ruining my day. I'm officially done with aj's. Mostly all the Dover locations but Woodbury Portsmouth has also given issues with a simple task of making coffee. For preface, I have tried every which way to order a frigging coffee. But, regular ask, "medium iced coffee, 2 cream, no sugar" (because I found out regular has 3 cream). It turned into a huge issue over the course of a couple weeks that me asking for "2" meant double. So I decide to just say screw it say the word 'light' and whatever it is I'll take it. I then continue to get asked if I want light cream or light coffee? Like WTF is that dude? Light coffee? As in color? Extra cream means extra creamer aka light coffee, in what world does light cream mean light coffee? And every time they have an excuse of people asking for light coffee. Ok... IF... that's the case then tell the idiot that they need to say "extra cream" and get them back to reality. Like legit look up the definitions of these words don't be making new Webster definitions. From there however, I still get it made wrong whether with sugar or extra cream whatever it is. The translation just doesn't add up. The management and aj team as a whole is very easy to talk to but like instead of taking all the cash and opening a new store why don't you spend more brain power and money into a better training book or testing before going hands on etc, like a restaurant does, idk. But change something. I like the aj rewards but it's legit just not worth it I never get the right coffee unless I go to the Rochester/somersworth one that's near the hilltop Chevy. They are the only ones paying attention and knowledgeable. But it's out of the way these days so I'm just done there's other local coffee around. Coffee and even this complaint is just another 1st world problem I get it, but you're ruining it and if you are going to run a business with dozens of franchises whatever you got going on, do it right

This place is great but only if you want your order WRONG. 9/10 tines I ask for an ENTIRELY sugar free rush, it is NOT entirely sugar free. And yes, I ask for one of the sugar free flavors. But for some reason most of the time it is not what I ask for. It's frustrating, I just wish the employees could ACTUALLY LISTEN to the customer when they say ENTIRELY sugar free ?. I ask for both flavor and rush sugar free, but ONLY get the rush sugar free. It would be one thing if this happened only once or twice,but pretty much EVERY time I go to this location, the employees DO NOT listen and get my order WRONG!

I like their rushes, but, there have been multiple times I've asked for a sugar free rush from this local, and each time it hasn't been sugar free. It's infuriating. There are some flavors that taste way better sugar free. And I am personally on a weight loss journey, and getting full sugar rushes really messes up my calorie count for the day. It would be nice if they could get their act together and ACTUALLY LISTEN to what their customers want. It's extremely infuriating getting the complete opposite of what you've asked/paid for.

Weekend crew needs to step it up. I get my same coffee here every morning 7 days a week, and every single weekend my order is never right. No problems with the week day early morning crew they are always 100% on point every time

Went to the aroma Joe's off of exit 7, got an iced coffee and a hot one. Both of them made with spoiled cream. Absolutely repulsive and disgusting. Yesterday went to the aromas in downtown South Berwick, ME ordered a sugar free Italian rush, paid for an Italian rush, all I got was an Italian soda. Annoyed with how the workers can't look at dates or follow directions. Wasted money and didn't even get to enjoy any of my drinks I got from aromas. Very disappointed

Great people and great coffee, especially for a chain. Drive through is convenient if you're in a rush. Definitely miles above the national chains. I hope they maintain that level of quality as the chain grows!

AJs is now my go to for their Italian Sodas. Any of their flavors are available with a soda water base over ice. I get 1 extra pump of syrup to boost the flavor. Our friends love the soft pretzels and my daughter loves their chocolate chip muffin. The only real gluten free food option is a marshmallow square, which is delicious, but not an ideal meal.

I just waited in line for a single iced tea for an excessively long time while an employee chatted with her friends in the car in front of me. She chatted for a solid six minutes at the ordering window and another five minutes at the pick up window. She had no consideration for the line of cars that were piling up and continued to use profanity while talking with her friends. This is not the first time this employee has made me wait in line for 10 minutes or more because she was chatting with friends. Blonde hair with a nose ring. The rest of the girls are very nice and efficient but this employee has got to go.

Even when the lines are long I always get great service. The people who are given bad attitudes probably don’t tip lol I’ve never had an issue here. Even when I ask for strange/complicated drinks I’m still given great service. Keep it up guys and always tip your barista!

I NEVER complain about places, especially coming from the restaurant industry, but the lady here this morning was nothing but straight attitude. Eye rolling, sighing, and just rude. If you hate your job get another one. I get it, it’s early in the morning and things can be frustrating but there’s no need for that. Do better.

If you don’t like your job and want to be a wench every single morning then please do us all a favor and get a different job. Twice this week I have ordered drinks from this location and both times I asked for the SUGAR FREE RUSH to be labeled for a coworker who is diabetic. But let’s not take someone’s health into consideration and have an attitude instead. I can make a quick phone call if preferred. Whomever runs this locations needs to have a talk with their employees before something happens ??‍♀️
