Have been going here for years.Portions are almost half what they were and price more. Spreading 5 scallops out on plate and charging 28 bucks is crazy. I really want to keep coming because it’s local and the servers are great - but prices are too much and quality is declining. Hope it turns around.

We took our grandchildren to eat here and were so impressed by the quality of all the food for both the adults and the kids. The food here is made from scratch and prepared perfectly. Staff lied and said food was almost ready when I arrived. I watched them print the ticket and bring it into the kitchen. I arrived 5 minutes after the posted time and it was not busy at all. Waited for another 15 minutes. Just be honest next

I have been to the Roost before and enjoyed it. I brought some friends who have never been there before . We were all very disappointed. My short rib dinner was so salty I couldn't eat it, my husband scallops were just ok. Our friends meal was the same as ours. It took forever to get our salads and our meals. I will not be back in a hurry. Please let me know when things improve.
Not a bad meal, just not memorable. Went to celebrate our anniversary and was hoping for a little more. Table next to the window was cold and service a little slow. Appetizers were good but main course didn't seem fresh. Server said the lobster was frozen and not fresh. Too bad because I was hoping for better. Overall, we were a little disappointed and probably will not return.

Something in the Seafood Duo was very salty. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or not. I wanted to try something new but I was disappointed. I have to say that the lobster ravioli was delicious.

I stumbled upon the roost a few year ago and have had many different experiences, some good, some not so great but Last week I went in during lunch with my wife and our friends. Our waitress was more than amazing! She was very cheerful, fun, knowledgeable and very observant! I am a veteran but also someone who NEVER asks if a restaurant has a veterans discount. Our server noticed my military pin on my jacket and asked if I had served our country, the answer was yes in which she instantly thanked me for my service and informed me that they offer a veterans discount for “those who serve our country”. I was very impressed because no one has ever been so observant as she was as well as having some really great recommendations on food and drinks and was able to carry an awesome conversation with our table! Although she was by herself and somewhat busy (making drinks, cleaning, and delivering food) her service continued to be impeccable and she didn’t even look flustered at all! She also had a very unique name that my wife really fell in love with! Although when she first brought us our check she had forgotten to put the discount on our bill (we did not tell her she had forgotten it) but as soon as she came back over to grab our payment, she realized her mistake and immediately applied the discount for us. My wife, our friends, and I have been to many restaurants and all agreed that this was the best experience we have ever had! We will be back again to visit our new favorite server!

Seated right away. Asked for a quiet area as we were having a quick meeting and there were larger parties. We were sat away from other groups. Food was quick and delicious, as usual.

I ordered the steak and pear salad. The steak was inedible with mostly fatty veins running through it. There were a few bites that were fine. The waitress (who was absolutely lovely) offered to exchange it but I didn't want to delay the meal out of respect for my friend so just kept it. The waitress brought me extra napkins so I could spit out the fatty chunks (which yes is pretty gross for my friend ha). I've eaten here many times before and had very good experiences so would still recommend Roost but I would avoid the steak and pear salad.
