Don't be frightened by the location in a mall. This is surprisingly authentic Mexican food, much of it prepared in the regional style of the owner. We love the burritos, which are served "platter-style"--topped with great sauces and eaten with fork and knife. Attentive service, and OK beer selection. Highly recommend for anyone seeking good, causal Mexican food.
Cinco's, like most Mexican restaurants in the area, is just average. The location is very dark and the decor is starting to see some wear and tear. Where Cinco's shines is their service. Our waitress, Charlotte, was friendly and attentive.The cheese dip we ordered was watery; although tasty, it could be compared to the Tostitos cheese dip found at the grocery store. Three of us, two adults one 12 year old. All had good food and drink--though none were alcoholic so can't speak to those. An order of a skillet burrito, pork tacos and a kids taco all arrived quickly and the food seemed fresh and tasty. Chips and salsa were fine but not remarkable. Service was good. Pricing was appropriate. Nothing to mark down. A perfectly fine Mexican restaurant.
