Quiet Mexican restaurant with friendly staff and not much else. Menu is a little confusing as everything aside from their 4 dinners and 3 combo plates are a la carte and the sides are very expensive ($5 for a side of rice). Got the shredded beef Enchilada and a shredded beef tostada. Another in my party got chicken tacos.Enchilada: kind of nice shredded beef but smothered in some kind of sweet, brown gravy. Gravy on enchilada already had formed a skin as it arrived at the tableTostada: again the same beef but not much difference from something you'd get from Taco-bell except it tastes like it was over microwaved with the tostada itself tasting slightly burnt.Chicken tacos: tortilla was old and somewhat stale. Chicken was clearly microwaved and was simple boiled, shredded chicken with no seasoning. Kind of disappointing.Staff: staff was friendly and gave us plenty of time to decide, grabbing us drinks, chips and salsa as well. Restaurant was well maintained and seemed clean in the front end.Over all, not a great impression aside from the foh. For $36 we could have made much better food at home. And we probably will from now on.

Having lived in the southwest, the food here is just OK. The salsa and chips are sus - store bought? Good taco salad and the prices are reasonable. The only reason I don't go more is the bar service is painfully slow. Unfortunately, I go next door more often (Chinese food) for the only reason the service is quicker.

Rita's Mexican Restaurant provided a delightful experience with its friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I particularly appreciated their skill in preparing a delicious skinny margarita, allowing me to indulge while being mindful of my calorie intake. The complimentary chips and salsa were a tasty addition to the overall dining experience. The dimly lit ambiance of the restaurant added a cozy touch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the interior, which exceeded my initial expectations. Overall, Rita's Mexican Restaurant left me satisfied.

Rita's is, by far, the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is flavorful and delicious (especially with macho sauce; it's similar to enchilada sauce but even better), the servers are always friendly and helpful (Kaley is the best, but everyone is great), and the prices are definitely worth it for the quality. I'm confused by the negative reviews that I've read on here, because my experiences at this restaurant have never been anything but positive. If you like Mexican food and you haven't given Rita's a try, you're missing out.

We enjoyed our first visit to Rita’s! We were happy to learn that they use the same recipes as Little Mexico, one of our all time favorite restaurants! The queso dip and chips were excellent! We also enjoyed the beef enchiladas. The beef burrito was a bit dry-next time we will try it with macho sauce or chili. It would be nice if that was included in the price and not an added cost. The atmosphere was fun and the restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful!

We tried them twice and were very hopeful. Both times there was only one waitress and the place was packed so service is extremely slow. They don’t carry Sauvignon Blanc which is the most commonly white wine in the US today and they only had one glass left if Pino Grigio. The menu is very basic and limited. The food we got for there was good but we ordered extra for lunch the next day. My husband ordered a chicken burrito and when he opened it we were shocked to see that it was literally a flower tortilla with shredded chicken inside. Nothing else! No sauce, cheese, veggies, nothing, just a handful of dry chicken in a dry tortilla. I’ve never seen a burrito like that before. We were disappointed but it’s a busy place so I guess people here like them ?‍♀️

March 23 2023 my first time there and it was awful! Service was lousy and slow! Food came out very late! Appetizers we had to wait forever! Main course was even later! I ordered a dish with main ingredient was a green pepper and they left the stem on and it was cold! Had to keep asking waitress to get another beer! ? Don't know if we'll go back!
