Having had Chinese food from all over the world, including China, I have never had Chinese food this bland. The staff were friendly and lovely but it does not make up for the fact that the food had no taste. I didn't even know it was possible to make Chinese food bland. We sat across a group of elderly people who had ordered food marked as spicy and overheard them saying that the food wasn't spicy at all and that they were disappointed and to get that kind of reaction from elderly, white people, tells you all you need to know about the quality of the food.I will say...the beef was tender...but again flavourless. The Dan Dan noodles lacked any heat and seemed to just be covered in peanut sauce they got from a jar. The crab Rangoon had never seen a crab, let alone been described as one. And I couldn't tell what meat was in the dumplings. Even their chili oil wasn't as spicy as ground pepper.

Saw all the great reviews and couldn’t wait to try this place after moving local. The review that caught my eye was the General Gau chicken, so that’s what I ordered. Boy was I disappointed. They were large puffy, mostly dough covered with a tiny bite of chicken in the middle. I couldnt eat them. I liked the fried rice. My partner ordered beef and vegetables that wasn’t awful. But not very flavorful. It was a good size portion. Appetizer of dumplings that were tasty. We had limited customer service. Very little interaction, waited for my beverage refill. Wanted so badly to enjoy this dinner out, but left very disappointed with no intention of trying it again.

The couple that owns the business not only have the best Chinese food in a 60 mile radius., they are the nicest people. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant, and you will experience it for yourself.

Looking forward to my next visit. The food was sooo delicous. Service was very good. Nice walk to the beach afterwards. Another great meal at Wok the Wok, Hampton Beach. We got the wonderful Hawaiian Chicken, chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice. Had a fantastic Planters Punch and my husband had a Sam Adam beer. Service was wonderful. Portions were plenty for another 2 servings at least!!

Got a pupu for 2. And each got a soup , a wonton and a hot and sour. Food was delicious. It seems as though they don't put any crab in their crab ragoons. Portions on soup were very small. Service was good but the servers stand and watch you very closely making it a little uncomfortable. People were clearly very drunk at the bar and quite loud which we found humorous but some people may not enjoy. Overall would eat there again.
