“I would give La Piñata Mexican Grill in Jaffrey, NH 10 stars if I could. My husband and I ordered the Cadillac Marguerites, Verde & Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas. They were outstanding. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the Mexican rice was perfect, and the refried beans were made from scratch, not out of a can. The décor was colorful and fun and the Mexican music was festive. The restaurant was immaculate and the service was superb! A fabulous restaurant.”

“We went their today for my birthday lunch. We had never been before, so we decided to give it a try.We had the bacon blue burger with fries and the steak salad.The burger was very good. The steak sald was super great. The food was brought out quickly.We had the desert special of the day, a raspberry cheese cake. It was nice and tasty.They have a great selection of beer. We had a porter and a stout. Both beers were suggested by the bar tender. He made a great choice for us.This was our fist time there and we will be back!Nice place for me to have my birthday lunch/dinner.PS the photos were taken a few minutes after we got our food (sorry)”

“A humble restaurant with a huge menu! A handful of vegetarian options. Very affordable prices. They also have a small bar inside. I had the general gao's tofu, which was very tasty. It also comes with a little bit of brocolli and a bowl of white rice. We had the scallion pancakes for an appetizer. They were excellent - perfect size and crispiness. Our entrees came in very large portions, so don't be surprised if you need a take-out box afterwards.”

“As residents of Jaffrey this is our go-to pizza place. Pizza and service is always 10/10. Recently for my son’s 4th birthday they made pepperoni pizzza with Mickey ears! Highly ”

“There was a significant storm for the area and many people without power or snowed in. Jackie was the only employee in and was crushing it. She was quickly moving through the orders and managing the line. What a great asset to this location.”

“We just went there this past Sunday for Easter. Made reservations for four had no problems. I did call back to add two more but they had no more reservations. They did offer to sit the extra at our table but my Husband and I thought it be to crowded. We got there just before our reservation and we were seated right away. Our server John came right over took our drink order got them and then to the orders. We all enjoyed our meals and appetizers every thing came to the table hot and delicious. This was all due to John our server number one and the food runners staying ahead of the orders. Good Food, Fair Price, Great service and friendly service we could not have asked for more. “Typical Silk City Diner with standard counter and booth seating with additional table seating in the rear. Very limited but adequate breakfast and lunch menu which ensures your orders will leave the kitchen in record time. Excellent service, good prices and very good food. I didn't order from the breakfast menu but saw several items pass the table; it all appeared to be very creditable New England breakfast fare. Would recommend this breakfast and lunch stop if you find yourself in the area. You can be in, out and on your way in a flash, even if it is very busy.”

“Let's start off that this place is the most charming renovated farm house. We loved the interior and was an interesting clash being an Italian restaurant. The food was spectacular. We are originally from the Boston area and adore the North End. We moved out to the burbs and this place was still an hour away....totally worth the trip. I got the Gorgonzola Chicken. I asked my wife for a divorce so I could marry this dish. Just creamy and beyond sinful. Great stuff. The wait staff were friendly and affable albeit a tad slow. Nowadays, with the employment shortage, you can't really bitch about service if they're slow, but busy. It's just the new normal. Our only gripe was that the drinks were a tad weak, but worth the expense for the food quality and ambiance. Make reservations! This place appears to always be full!”

“I found Brown House Bakery online last night and stopped by today since it is only a 10 minute drive from our house. I got cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls and coffee cake to bring home, and they were fantastic. Everyone including the guests were so welcoming and friendly, and there were so many items I want to come back and try, as well as their full breakfast menu. Thrilled I found this hidden gem!”

“The Bantam Grill is hands down one of the best (if not the best) restaurant that I’ve been to in New Hampshire! This cozy, unassuming Italian/American eatery feels like the perfect combination of upscale restaurant and local pub, with extremely polite and friendly waitstaff, as well as a bartender who should be working in NYC at an upscale cocktail lounge, because the two drinks that we had were unlike anything my palette had ever tasted before. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer almost had me fooled it was a vegetable, and the house-made raviolis melted in my mouth so well I swore I was in Italy. I will definitely be recommending the Bantam Grill to anyone looking for food in the Southern NH area, never mind Petersborough, this place is worth the TRIP!”

“Have visited several times living in the area but our most recent lunch with our of town family visiting was incredible! Our food and drinks for lunch were top notch and our Server Kelsey was amazing, she was very friendly, personable, attentive and made our experience even better. Kids options were awesome delicious and big portions, flatbreads and appetizers delicious again great portions. Burgers are awesome as we've tried those on a previous visit. Drinks were amazing highly recommend the espresso martini or any drink on the menu.
