The arugula salad was delicious, and the smoked Hollandaise sauce on the chicken schnitzel was amazing - and I’m a Hollandaise snob. The braised greens as a side were also delicious, portion size was great and the service was excellent!!

Super cozy atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff/cooks (they made special variations for our kids as they don't have a kids menu). Not all our dishes were 5/5, but it's a rotating menu so I can't judge that it is the norm.

This place is amazing! The staff so warm and friendly! I mean “Real People”. My first time here and wow! The welcoming and hospitality of the drinks and the knowledge of the staff and what they recommend that pairs with your food is very helpful. The Menu, the food! Like never before have I ever experienced such an experience of clean eating, nutritional goodness and presentation. celery bisque, lamb shanks, Oyster Rockefeller, salmon, and the salads are so delicious and healthy! Definitely my favorite by far escape from the boring choices of Keene.

This place is so special and we are fortunate that it exists in our town. The staff is so sweet and caring, they take the time to not only make sure your experience is top notch... but to get to know their customers as well. The kitchen staff is always striving for excellence and it shows in the small details of the plates. Get a ticket to a pre fixe dinner, show up for a dance party, stop by for a night cap or treat yourself to an awesome meal unlike anything else in Keene. We love Machina and are grateful to the owners and staff that have poured their love into a gift for us.

This is one of the most unique and fun restaurants I have ever been to, The decor and art is striking. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. They are Celiac disease and gluten-free friendly with clear labeling on their menu. The warm beets were fabulous. I had the Machina Burger 2.0 and my wife had the Chicken Schnitzel and both were delicious. They have unusual and tasty mock-tails. The French 79 and the Oh, Snap very enjoyableDietary restrictions: They are Celiac disease and gluten-free friendly with clear labeling on their menu.

We were traveling from out of town and had great expectations for this restaurant based on the online menu presented and reviews. It was my spouse’s birthday and we ordered bourbon espresso martinis which were different but good. For an appetizer, we ordered the bruschetta. The ingredients seemed to be chopped up, too busy and thrown on top on toasted bread. My spouse ordered the cod fish from the specials menu. I ordered the NY strip (which they explained they only had steak tips avail). There was nothing special about the cod unfortunately. It was supposed to be wrapped in paper and have aromatic flavors, if it was it was extremely light and came out unflavored. The first red flag should have been how small the actual plate itself was physically (for both entrees). The entree was not served on a traditional dinner plate. The steak tips I ordered medium but they came out raw and chewy. I ate the mashed potatoes and broccoli only (although I chose asparagus initially when asked if I wanted brocolli or asparagus ). The mashed potatoes seemed to be instant and the second steak tips brought out were more well done but still very chewy. I had less than half a piece (not even) and couldn’t eat it. I paid about 27 dollars for mashed potatoes and some broccoli. We aren’t ones to complain or return food but unfortunately this place wasn’t what we expected. I felt bad for the server since we know the issue lies within the kitchen. We decided on no dessert in the chance that it would be just as bad. Nothing was comped and we didn’t want to address any further since it was clearly known the food wasn’t up to par based on the food not eaten. My spouse ate her cod and butternut puree due to being very hungry but the meal was extremely bland.Unfortunately, for this “art bar” the drinks were the highlight and we didn’t see much art or music/ performances etc. We ended up having to go get a pizza down the street since we were still hungry.

Don’t waste your money. The food was overpriced and took forever to get our food. We ordered the warm olives and they were burnt. We got 2 tiny shrimps in the bowl, and a small bowl of rice, like 2 scoops. The steak was 3 small pieces, overcooked after I asked for medium. Awful, really ruined our night. It sounded like the kitchen was backed up, I get, but give us some bread or something. We waited 40 mins for our food and then was severely disappointed. The fastest thing that came was the bill, took 60seconds after we asked for it.

Six of us were visiting for a girls weekend. We decided to get take out and stay in to enjoy our beautiful rental. We could not have been more disappointed in our food. The steak dinner was the equivalent of 1 steak tip for $30 and the schnitzel was one dry flattened chicken tender with 3 mini potatoes. The sauces were lacking in flavor and the portions were laughable. We plan on visiting Keene next year and will NOT be dining in or taking our food from Machina. My friends that picked up the food were also very confused by the ambiance. Incredibly disappointed in a very pricy meal. Don't bother...

A weekend away with friends to Keene and we decided to get takeout from Machina Kitchen & Artbar. When we sat down at the table and opened our dinners it was so terrible we laughed. A $27 steak dinner which was the size of a single large steak tip. The $21 chicken schnitzel was a single kids chicken finger with three baby potatoes. Very careless, very poor. If I worked there I wouldn't allow a meal like that out the door. Do not recommend.

We went skiing to Okemo and on the lift an owner of another farm to table restaurant, the Hungry Diner, recommended we try this restaurant. Their restaurant was not open on Tuesdays but Machino was. We were not disappointed. We started with the lamb spaetzle which was delicious. Then we had their dumplings that we also loved. My friend had the chicken snitzle that he said he enjoyed and I had the Fresh made pasta alfredo with chicken that I too enjoyed. The service was fast and friendly and the meals were priced fairly for what we recieved. I would come back again.
