The Reuben made all my dreams come true. Saucy filling with crisp rye bread ?? My kiddo had the French toast. Quiet little cafe on this Thursday morning with really nice staff. We will definitely be back.

You don't have to be vegan to like this restaurant. The food is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. I try to get there at least once a week to get takeout for my wife and me. But they have a lot of fun items, so sometimes I get food for more than one day. I really like their Cuban sandwich, so I get that a lot. But I've tried a number of their other options and they're also quite good. There's usually a weekly special that's fun. And, though I can't eat sugar myself, I have it on good authority that the whoopie pies are excellent. While full-time veganism can be a lot of work and some people think of it as a form of deprivation, part-time veganism still reduces the world's stress on animal products, is climate-friendly, and has a lot of health benefits. So don't feel like you have to subscribe to a religion to enjoy yourself. For example, I try to keep my cholesterol down, and vegan food automatically checks that list. No cholesterol in anything. So when they have something that is cheeseburger-like, it obviously isn't going to be made of actual beef and cheese. Still, I find it "good enough" taste-wise and I like not having to feel guilty that I'm off diet when I'm enjoying my food. An underappreciated aspect of such a restaurant is that its know their ingredients and don't think it's at all odd for you to ask about them. So if you've got food sensitivities of any kind and tire of feeling like a burden for asking, just that part alone may help you feel relaxed and among your own. This restaurant is tucked inside the Toadstool Bookstore, a local indie bookstore, so that's fun too. Browse some physical books while you're there. Yeah, that's still a thing.

I visited during the Keene NH Ice and Snow ❄️ Festival and this cafe was busy! I ordered the Mac and Cheez , a Rubes sandwich ? and a peppermint whoopie pie with a hot chocolate for dessert. Everything tasted good! My Rubes sandwich fell apart and I had to use a fork to eat it. It was greasy. I was given a sample of the hot chocolate, which is made of oat milk ?. It is sweeter than regular hot chocolate. The staff were friendly and service was good. WiFi available. Prices are high. All sorts of coffee ☕, teas, espresso and smoothies ? are available. There is variety in the menu with ? soups , sandwiches, salads, vegetarian burgers and much more. They have an app and you can order online.I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan. I am going to recommend this cafe to everyone.Vegetarian options: This cafe menu is aimed at vegetarians and vegans. They do have items with non vegetarian protein.Dietary restrictions: Their menu lists gluten free ?.Parking: The Farm Cafe is in Toadstool ? Bookshop and you can use their parking ?️ lot to visit. There is parking along the street. I don't remember if you have to pay. I visited during the Keene Ice and Snow Festival and walked to this cafe.Kid-friendliness: Families are welcomed but seating is limited.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ♿ accessible.

The Farm Café is a destination for great vegan food, gluten-free baked goods and coffee drinks (smoothies and teas also). Try the specials. Today's was ramen with grilled marinated tofu, mushrooms, and beets in a rich broth, served piping hot. Delish! I hope it stays on the menu.

Love stopping here and getting to browse books at the same time! The brunch burger, TLT, roasted potatoes, and chocolate croissants are our favorites. Wonderful to have so many veggie options.

The food took a while, which we were told about, so I guess that's ok. But then the meal came out underdone with raw sweet potatoes, no salt and no sauce. Of course, we only figured this out after we drove away so there was nothing to be done. So sad. We probably won't come back.

Love the vibe of this place, just a nice vegan cafe tucked inside a book shop. The food was good for the most part, loved the baked goods and shake I got, although I also got the mac and cheese and thought it was a little bland. The flavor was there, just needed to be salted more.

The food is delicious. I had a good sized poutine bowl and a strawberry beet chocolate smoothie. Prices are reasonable for specialty (vegan) food. This is located inside Toadstool Books but most people were there for the cafe not the bookstore. There is ample parking out back, something I'm not used to on Main Street in my own home city.

Finding another vegan restaurant in NH is a big bonus to this cafe! And the good is great. My husband and I stopped in on a motorcycle ride for a quick lunch. The Farm Cafe is inside the Toadstool Book Shop, so it's not huge. There are maybe 5 tables inside and plenty of outdoor seating. You order cafe-style at the counter and they bring the food to you. I ordered the Brunch Burger (homemade veggie burger, Just Egg, & pickled veggies on ciabatta) my husband ordered a bowl, and we shared a cup of Mac n Cheeze. The burger was homemade, (not a Beyond Burger or the like) and it was tasty. The Mac n Cheeze was not great, but good. We had a Cashew Cardamom Cupcake and an Apple Cider donut for dessert. Delish! I will definitely stop in here again when in the neighborhood.

After a Keene college tour my family saw this local bookstore and to top it off there was this wonderful little cafe/restaurant. All Vegan. All Wonderful.
