If my car broke down in another state, I would walk to 70 North for their croissants. The best I've had outside of Paris and, I believe, the first scratch made in Laconia. Beautiful bread made by bakers who know what that means. Absolutely try these marvels but please leave one or two for me.
Amazing local cafe and bakery! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of unique pastries, meats, cheeses, and coffee that are just to die for! Took home a ‘Moroccan Spiced Chicken on French bread’ sandwich and was blown away at the flavor combination and uniqueness of it. Great view of the lake without the crowd! Specialty products are great quality, great atmosphere. Also, the pain au chocolat is one of the best I’ve had in the States. Heated up, it is crispy, but still chewy and airy. Really good!
