We had dinner on Saturday night 24 Feb. We ordered two clam chowders and 2 seafood platters. After about 30 min, the waitress informed us that they had to redo a fresh chowder. Another 15 min passed, with the main course turning up but no sign of the chowders. The main course arrived without any vegetables and the waitress did not even notice. We went looking for the waitress who informed us that the vegetables were coming soon.. 15 min later, the vegetables had still not turned up and we were finished eating our food. It was a terrible experience, and despite the 10% discount that they applied, it is a pity how the service has regressed and would not recommend this restaurant.

A little Thurs night dinner at Hector's in Laconia.Warning!! If using Google maps to find this place, it is a logistical disaster.Restaurant is located in an area with a lot of one-way streets. The building is also surrounded with do not enter signs from 2 of the 3 access points.Once we got in the waiter was friendly and attentive.We were in the mood for pasta.Started with a Diet Coke and lime. Wife had a Summertime Sangria. It was refreshing!Ordered Chicken Scallopini,better half ordered Shrimp Mediterranean.Scallopini was tender and juicy with a light lemon sauce. Served over spaghetti.It tasted good not the best or worst I ever had.Shrimp Mediterranean tasted good. Shrimp were a little rubbery.Finished off with dessert, we ordered mud pie . Consisted of coffee ice cream w chocolate chips inside a chocolate pie crust. Dollup of whipped cream on the side. Good not great had better store bought. Overall okay.Our Waiter was very good.

There was only one other table in the restaurant and it took us 45 minutes to get our order, only to find it cold. When we asked about the menu, the waiter didn't know about the food and clearly wasn't going to ask anyone. Food was ok at the end of the day, but not worth the aggravation.

The food was mediocre at best and the service was painfully slow. We even witnessed two of the older staff having some sort of disagreement at the reception desk. Save yourself the headaches visit nearby Fratello’s to have a much better dining experience.
