The Laconia Village Bakery far surpassed our expectations in every way! From the initial contact and theme presented to them (pirates), we were not disappointed. They suggested the size based on my headcount and they were spot on. The cake was chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling and buttercream frosting- it was delicious! I gave them only my theme and I told them to make it fun. I was delighted when I picked it up; the birthday pirate and my guests were also ! Don’t hesitate to put your trust in this bakery, they rock!!

Ordered a birthday cake for my best friend. When I called to make the order over the phone and the person I spoke to was very nice and helpful. I chose the lemon cake with blueberry filling and lemon buttercream. When asked how I wanted it decorated I told them “bakers choice”. The cake was ready at the time requested and beautifully decorated. I was even more impressed with the way the cake tasted. I couldn’t have been more happy with the way it turned out. I would absolutely order another cake from here.
Laconia Village Bakery made our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were amazing! We got so many compliments throughout the night and one person said the vanilla cupcake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream was the best cupcake they have ever had. We will definitely order from them again ?

Smaller place but room for our party to sit and eat our goodies. Tried a scone, breakfast sandwich and breakfast pizza- all three things were outstanding.

We ordered a 2-tier cake for our wedding celebration party and to make it easier we said we would pick it up. They assured me that when my mother-in-law picked it up that it would be easy to transport and boxed up nicely. When she arrived to pick it up they handed her an unboxed cake for her to take out in the pouring rain. After being asked to box the cake, it didn’t fit the cake and the box was open and we had to ask them to cover better because of rain and they taped wax paper on the box. The cake was cracked on the bottom tier on one side and by the time we went to cut it the “good” side was cracked as well.The cake was delicious but it would have be much better if they put some effort in making transportation better and it wasn’t falling apart.

Stopped in because the 'Specials' blackboard read: BBQ Brisket sandwich on brioche with homemade pickles. OMGosh-- the best brisket sandwich ever! And the bakery options...yum!
