We had been searching Manchester for a decent Chinese place for a bit now and decided to look on yelp the reviews here were pretty decent so we took a chance we got a pretty easy order pu pu for 3 ordered there waited about 20 min that's fine The food was really good not excellent but will be back to try other items Will recommend

If sad were a Chinese restaurant, this would be it. Ordered a pu pu for 1 tonight with some dumplings--$30 plus worth of food. There was something really rancid about my egg roll, inedible, to say the least. The chicken wing was fried to absolute death. Dumplings were absolutely drenched in oil. Rice was tasty, as were chicken fingers and crab Rangoons. The Saddest protein portions I have ever seen. I'd hate to review a place that seems like a mom and pop restaurant, but it's hard to ever come back here again.

They use the lowest quality ingredients and cuts of meat in their food. I got boneless ribs and it was all fat and gristle. I didn’t even receive the teriyaki I was supposed to receive. The chicken fingers have a very strange taste and texture- like they over cook them and leave the tendons in. Also they’re apparently giving spring rolls with their combos instead of actual egg rolls. Not to mention they have their underaged children working the register. Seems like a lot of cutting corners…and the quality is absolutely lacking. Won’t eat anything from here again and I highly recommend that anyone else choose elsewhere as well.

Best Chinese food I've had. 10/10. Crab rangoons were a little flat but besides that everything is always super tasty. General Tso is the literally the best ever

Kid on the register ✅Faded menu board ✅Exactly one table in a small dingy lobby ✅Actually it's just chairs ✅I need to try this place again to be sure, but the first time I had it recently, it was legit. If you want something close to real American Chinese, go to cheng du!

Best Chinese takeout, their crab rangoon is the best of the many places I've tried and their chicken teriyaki is my go-to ! Honestly don't want Chinese food if it's not from Cheng Du Kitchen lol

Okay to get your fix, but the hot and sour soup was a 5/10. Too many mushrooms, no bamboo shoots, and spice/flavor didn't hit. White gurl comfortably ate it. Will give it another shot.

Typical Chinese food but better. We had the gyoza, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken and broccoli. Above average, but not mind blowing, just good

Definitely some of the best Chinese food in the Mansfield area. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it.Dietary restrictions: They are great at working with you if you have allergies

Food is always super good. Fresh and hot. Good portions. Always the same quality now matter what day of the week you go. Family owned, and they take pride in it. Anyone that leaves them a bad review would complain if you handed them a free gold bar, they would say it wasn't shiny enough. Someone gave a 1 star because they left an $8 tip on a $40+ order and they didn't say thank you, congrats, you tipped what you were supposed to. Their culture is different, it's extremely uncommon for people to tip in China and some actually find it offensive. For everyone else that doesn't live to complain about everything, try Chen Du out, place is awesome.

I can honestly say that Cheng du chicken fingers are the best of anybody around...Because it is actually chicken with very little breading. Most other restaurants are all breading with a thin sliver of chicken in the middle. I think I like these even better than the Puritan chicken tenders, And they are right down the street. Also very family-oriented business. Really must try.
