I’m a Canadian living in New England and haven’t had a truly satisfying poutine in YEARS. Finally made it to Chez Vachon after seeing them on tv. I knew as soon as I saw a picture of their poutine that it was the real deal, the one that’s been missing from my life… and it was everything I had hoped and dreamed of. Perfect fries, delicious gravy, and big generous cheese curds. We also had a really great turkey sandwich, the kind you can only get at a good diner. Service was super friendly and fast, not to mention hilarious.

You can get breakfast or lunch both any time you are there. The place can get crowded quickly, so showing up early is wise.Update: my review of three years ago is no longer very accurate. They have had staffing trouble the last two visits. Service quality and food quality have both gone down. Everything fried came out overcooked on the outside and undercooked in the center two times in a row.
