Have never been. After a disaster visit to Masa we swore off Manchester Hibachi. Gave this place a try and it's fantastic. The food is cooked right and delicious. Timmy, our waiter, was fantastic and very attentive.

We loved Hibachi and sushi at Izumi! We have been twice now and the entertainment/Chef are amazing (we had Jon both times), the food is super tasty and we loved the atmosphere. We went with a large party and all the kids in our party had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire time. Jon really had them laughing and engaged. There is a ton of variety on the menu and plenty of parking outside. This will definitely be our new go-to hibachi and sushi place.

I have come to order some food to go 40 mins ago and they're just starting to make my sushi. The only excuse they made is that the chef is making other people's sushi, while I see that half of the tables are empty. Will update about the food. That's why you shouldn't top until after you get the food.

I've been wanting to go to the new location of The Seafood King, which is now also Izumi, for quite a while now. I had eaten at the Elm Street location during Covid, but with the new offerings of sushi and other Japanese cuisine, I had to go.I'll get the sushi next time and let you know how it ranks among other establishments throughout the state, but for the purposes of this review, I'll turn your attention to their rather large selection of seafood boils.I got the Black Muscles and Cajun sausage with the hot House sauce. It comes with about ⅓ of an ear of corn and the equivalent of one potato cut up and boiled. It came quickly, and was hot and steaming, both A's in my opinion. The muscles were tough, but sometimes they are, so that's perhaps a wash. But the corn was tough and chewy, and despite being out of season, better corn is available, especially if you only give ⅓ of an ear. The sausage, on the other hand was cooked perfectly and they gave a considerable serving. The biggest problem was that the boiling bag comes full of the precious sauce that you choose as a key part of your individual plate, and with only a fork to eat, there is no way up consume more than the 10% of the sauce that may cling to your food when you dip it. No bread is served, and no white rice to use as a vehicle to actually enjoy the flavors of your chosen spice and the natural juices of your proteins.Solution: I ordered a side of white rice, and the waitress immediately knew what I wanted it for, "to add it to the yummy juice" so you can eat it, she basically said, which tells me that an employee is already aware of the need for a starch with that meal. White rice is very cheap and it should either be given as part of the meal, or listed right under the entrée for a small uncharted.I shared this with the person to whom I paid the check, so we'll see what they do with the information. If I return and they haven't addressed this easily solved dilemma, I won't eat there again. I'll keep you posted.

Enjoyed our meals. Quick and friendly service. Nice, updated decor. Music was a little loud for us and we could have used a knife for the tail on shrimp in the yummy teriyaki sauce.

Ordered Crab boil. Seafood in a bag is a terrible presentation. Crabs were miniature, very little meat.Music was rap/hip hop. Loud and vulgar. Not for children. My wife and I are from Florida so we know good seafood. This was not good.We will not eat here again, nor will we recommend it to anyone.

Not busy at all. Great food and service. Presentation was excellent. Dish plating was phenomenal and flavor was just absolutely amazing. I cannot figure why this place packed. This place is simply the best Japanese steakhouse in New Hampshire.Wheelchair accessibility: NO STAIRS OR LIPS

Edit (12/22/23): went a second time tonight and this place got even better than last time. This time we got massive king crab legs. Everything was delicious. Update to 5 stars. Definitely recommend coming here.First, id like to say that the king sauce is amazing 10/10 would recommend. The king crab legs were on the smaller side. Pricing is alright for what you get. Overall, a good restaurant.

My wife and I just came back from coming here. We were both so disappointed in both our meals. We both got the Japanese Teriyaki, she had the shrimp and I had the chicken. She said it was lacking in flavor. Mine on the other hand came with onions and no red peppers which is right on the menu that it came with RED PEPPERS. I hate onions!!! If the description on the menu said it came with onions then I would have asked for it to be removed. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE!!!Took a bit to even get a knife to cut my not fully cooked fatty chicken. Yuck.We will never go back......

We went here for Hibachi with our family of about 15 people during Thanksgiving. It was amazing! The food was delicious and the hibachi was incredibly entertaining. The best around. My husband and I went back to try their sushi and honestly it is the best sushi we have had in the area. The place is shockingly not very busy which was pretty nice for Hibachi! Would highly suggest giving it a try. We will keep going back!
