Grabbed takeout recently and this is A1 pho. Had been here prior to the ownership change and it was just as good. I don't get anything else so I can't judge any of that, but the portion of this pho with the mixed veggies added was excellent, as well as the flavor. Absolutely will come back.I can understand however if I was served my pho in plastic had I dined in.. But mine was takeout so I was obviously expecting that.

It’s a horrible eating experience. We just ordered the sliced pork-THREE orders, they looked like someone’s left over, too little pork on too much rice. Never ever order from this place again.

The food doesn’t taste bad, but looks bad. I bought sliced pork, but only get so little pork and the box looked like half eaten. I paid $13+ for this….not worth it.

After reading some of the recent reviews, my experience makes a lot more sense. Did not know about the owner change. Had been here many times before and it was very good. The pho broth is noticeably lighter in color/less tasty and it was served in a plastic bowl with plastic spoons. Was a pretty disappointing experience tbh.
I have been a Golden Bowl DIE HARD fan for many years. I’m SO heartbroken to be writing a bad review but I’m hoping the new owners see this and make improvements. The ownership has changed hands twice recently and it’s the most recent change that has truly ruined the place. I have been OBSESSED with the Spicy Beef Sate Pho (through both of the previous owners) I could eat it every day and never get sick of it. Ever since Kisaki bought it, it just sucks. This dish is mostly noodles, and they changed the noodles to some that are not as good, the broth is not even close to as flavorful, you can tell the beef is lower quality and is way too thick/chewy, the chop sticks are different and are too smooth so you can’t grip these noodles, also when you dine-in they give you disposable everything! That’s just insane to me. The other thing that bugs me is this is a Vietnamese restaurant and now it’s got a huge Chinese food menu. In my experience, that’s never a good sign. The menu was small and high quality before and now it’s huge and low quality. My husband was excited to try the Chinese food and he was super disappointed with that too. We’re SOOO sad. A new pho place is coming to town and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it’s good. RIP Golden Bowl :’(

Pho Golden Bowl in Manchester has been one of my wife and I’s favorite spots for years. Recently purchased by Kisaki and everything is different now. The Pho has lost its great rich flavor, all the ingredients are clearly different. The chicken from the chicken leg rice plate was way over cooked and the sauce was very different than in the past. There’s an entire new full size menu added for Chinese food, of which there were only a few options before, since this is is/was an authentic Vietnamese place. We hoped it was just a management change fluke but it’s been a few months and weve had the food a handful of times since then. Sad to see when great authentic restaurants are bought and everything changes.Just thought I’d warn everybody and share our experience. The food isn’t terrible, but it used to be incredible.

Convenient location downtown Manchester, with plenty of street parking. Services is friendly & efficient. I usually get the same thing each time because I get that Pho craving. The pho is consistently delicious & served up fresh. Happy to stop by & get my pho fix whenever I'm in town!

The pictures on Google maps look really nice, but the presentation wasn't accurate at all.The pho comes in a black plastic bowl and the sides come in a styrofoam plate. They didn't have a large option, so I ordered extra meat and noodles. The meat to noodle ratio was way off. Way too much noodle for barely any meat. The taste was alright, but nothing noteworthy.
Love the satay noodle soup so good!
