I honestly never write reviews about places but I just felt compelled because of how amazing our experience was here. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in was amazing. When I walk into a place and they’re playing Sade and frank Sinatra, I knew it was going to be amazing! Starting off, I asked if they could make me a martini with vodka and a fruit as I was up for a surprise and they did not disappoint! It ended up being some sort of banana martini which was interesting and nothing short of delicious. We also got an espresso martini which was amazing as well. Next comes the food; this is tapas style people it does not all come out at the same time! Enjoy sharing the food together!! Anyways we ordered the octopus balls, truffle fries, beef tongue Reuben and BBQ pork belly. I have to say I was shocked. I don’t even have a word for the food because it was beyond spectacular. I’ve never had beef tongue before and was a bit scared to try it but it was amazing. This level of dining and experience could absolutely survive in a bigger city like New York or LA. I found the prices to be extremely reasonable given how fresh and amazing the food was. You’re getting lesser quality of food for more money elsewhere on elm! I think what made the experience most hospitable was when I believe it was the chef came out to greet us and ask how everything was! This was the most unique cuisine I’ve ever seen in the city; well worth the money in my opinion! If there’s one thing Manchester is doing right it’s birch on elm! Kudos!!

Front runner for places to revisit when I'm back in the area. A tad pricey, but worth it. Venue - Fun combination of classy/classic furniture with high wood ceilings and dark and/or earthy tones for a welcoming, calming place that feels somehow classy without being too pretentious. Staff - Of the four people over two days, everyone was very pleasant and helpful...even with me probably talking too much while sitting at the bar. The bartenders were both particularly helpful with picking both drinks and kitchen items. Food - Primarily a tapas place, but I filled up rather quickly given there was no one to share with on my solo trip. The menu changes quite a bit, so the things I snapped pictures of likely aren't available, but were all delicious. The braised lamb, with seared butternut squash, polenta, pomegranate and dill was epically good. Legitimately "lick your plate" good. The General Tso's Cauliflower was also a great app. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich on a bao bun was great also, though I failed to get a picture of that. Cocktails - Tried three different cocktails while there also. They do a good job of blending and mixing flavors to make delicious cocktails. If you don't have time for dinner, maybe at least stop by for a cocktail and an app or two. Other Comments - The private room for up to 10 that you can book by the end of the bar has a really cool design. Combine that with their menu and I think you'll be incredibly happy with the choice. Odd thing to comment on, I know, but the bathroom was VERY clean.

One word: EXCELLENT!!!!!My hubby and I visited for Valentine’s Dinner 2/14/24.We ordered a few Small Plates to split and theto-die-for Brisket…. OMG heaven.Everything was simply delicious.?The service was also excellent and we cannot wait to go back. The chef’s attention to detail is spot-on and a class of food we have had in Boston and beyond. This is the real-deal if you appreciate exceptional food and service.Hot Chicken Bao (not too spicey-I’m a bit sensitive and had no issues)Ribs (melted off the bone and loved the sauce and crispy rice on top)?Brisket-whipped potatoes-light sauce(pure heaven)???All are pictured below. Also tried the Beet Salad.. ahhhhmazing,Frites, which I neglected to take photos of.? ?Just so much and we literally were blown away.???? GO!!!!!!!!

Love the new location and experience. Went back last night for the first time since Birch On Elm reopened. Amazing service- Andre gave me and my husband top tier service, possibly the best we’ve had at any restaurant ever. We loved The Birch before but our latest experience brought it to a whole new level. Can’t recommend enough!Parking: Not far from the Victory parking garage

We had a great experience last night from the time we walked in the door and Andre greeted us and brought us to our table until the end of the night when he shook our hand and thanked us for coming in. Come to find out he was one of the owners and he took great care to make sure we were enjoying our experience all night. The drinks were all great including the chocolate dessert martinis we asked for that were not on the menu. The food was amazing (sorry we forgot to take pictures!) we had the truffled fries, beef tart special, duck confit potato cake, and the lamb large plate. Each dish was plated beautifully, served nice and hot, and each bite tasted great! We enjoyed our night out and will be back again for another special occasion dinner in the future.
