I went to the Crown Restaurant with a friend in the early evening, since the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. I am so glad it was! We loved the atmosphere with the beautiful inlay floor, and tasteful setup with the bar and cooking area in designated areas. The atmosphere was alive with chatter and was just a happy place to be. My friend and I each had our own handmade pizza. Enough to share but you might want your own to take some slices home! She had a pizza with veges and garlic sauce. I had a mushroom pizza with delicious soft spreadable garlic, arugula and with truffle salt. (The last pizza on the menu. I would get it again.) We both loved the homemade chewy crust! Get the Cucumber Mocktail! Delicious! Don't forget the cheesecake with a berry sauce, or the caramel flan with a generous amount of raspberries. I am sure that anything you chose on the menu is going to be a tasty experience. Kudos to our waitress, Katrina T. She knew the menu and specials of the day. Great service, Katrina! Thank you for being personable! We hope we'll see you at The Crown again! Thank you!

We had reservations for dinner recently with Georges (he was great saying yes, he's Greek and his parents didn't name him plural.) His sense of humor, easy going nature, attention to detail and the whole experience was devine. Georges we will be back 3/29 for dinner before a show at the Rex and hope to get you again!Food was on point, beer was cold and glasses never went dry. In all, a fantastic experience at one of our favorite dinner spots!

I'm so hooked on their cheeseburger, I haven't tried anything else there since. Plus they have gluten-free buns so it's a GF treat for me. Think gourmet "Bic Mac" - gotta be 1/2 pound between the two patties. Loaded with ooey gooey melty cheese goodness and they've nailed the "secret sauce". I always ask for extra pickles. This is 2 meals for me! Best of all, Crown Tavern's very careful with gluten free items to avoid cross contamination. Substitutes for fries readily available. In my case I do a side salad, free of charge.I hear their wood fired pizza can also be made gluten free.Highly recommend Crown Tavern - with one caveat. They usually shut down carryout orders F & Sat during dinnertime rush :(Dietary restrictions: They accommodate for those on a gluten free lifestyle

So glad we found this gem! The food was incredible. The flat iron was literally one of the best steaks I've had and I have eaten at all of the top Boston steakhouses. It had the flavor of a ribeye but tenderness of a tenderloin. We will 100% be back! A+ bar staff as well.
Wont ever try and order anything at this place. I work down the street and wanted to order for takeout for my break and who ever answered the phone was verry snoby and rude ... she said "we arent taking orders for takeout because we are busy"... Never again will i recommend any of my customers to this place and i know i will never go back..

Gorgeous spot! Came in with my sister for a Galentine's celebration and we were not disappointed. Started with drinks and Dennis oysters. Split the kale salad and then two kinds of pizza. Finished with profiteroles. Will be back!

The host just told us the bar is “first come first serve”, and then proceeded to tell everyone that the seats at the bar are being held for reservations. Never seen this before at a single bar in my life.So, the bar can be, and is held for reservations.3 groups of people just stood there staring at empty seats at the bar, while the manager and host stared at us.The couple who came in for their table reservation was seated at the bar instead. Truly Bizarre.

We sat at the bar and the service was spectacular, as always. Shout out to Brian and Tyler. The recommendations and food was spot on! I can't stop thinking about the corn fritters. Yummmm
Great experience overall! I gave 4 stars on service not for our waiter, he was fantastic but for the bar service. It took close to 15 minutes to get the wine that was ordered. Though our cocktails were inventive and tasty. Food was excellent... Chicken tender app Burger Parchment salmon All excellent. Definitely headed back!
