Lunch food mediocre, but service is friendly and restaurant is comfortable and pleasant. Plenty of large windows let in a lot of sunshine.

Great breakfast place to check out. Very local local atmosphere and American traditional breakfast.Vegetarian options: I would not say this is health food but they have vegetarian options. Heavy on the milk and cheese, probably not a good place for anyone looking for vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Wonderful spot to go with kids. Staff is very friendly and patient with the weird kid requests ❤️.They have childrena books and coloring books to use while you wait.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp up. The doors are not automatic but there is enough space between them to open one go in and then open the other.

Love this little spot, located in an older building and they only take cash (or personal check?). I don't have a problem with either. We had the soup (lobster bisque) perfect temperature chunks of lobster meat and just the right amount of sherry. Hubby had special fried haddock. It was crisp and flavorful. I had a grilled cheese. Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. Don't look for gourmet meals or fancy digs, but go for a down home cooked meal. Great menu. Patrons were mostly senior citizens and we all know they like value and quality. They don't just give their money to anyone. Oh! And do yourself a favor and have a piece of homemade pie. To the reviewer who complained about the dip in the floor, we felt it too but thankfully we didn't have to eat on the floor.

I love this place. The staff are always friendly and the food is great. I’ve seen a lot of people disgruntled by not being able to use their cards as it’s a cash only business. Cash is more important than ever and is a big help to businesses and employees while serving to keep prices low. The ATM is not there to charge you a fee, but rather to give you access to cash if you didn’t bring it with you. Cash is accepted in more places than any CC and should always be with you for great small businesses like this.

* since the owner decided to passive aggressively critique my review I'll expand on it. When I said I looked at other plates and the food looked unappetizing, that's because the home fries on every plate look like they weren't cooked at all (home fries being the staple food for pretty much any breakfast restaurant). That and the $9 for a breakfast sandwich told me to exit asap. Food I saw on the other plates just looked plain and unappealing. We couldn't figure out how they had 4.5 Stars to begin with. As for the cold coffee and no creamers on the table the restaurant was almost empty only a couple other tables had people seated at it, definitely not busy. If it wasn't for tourists this place would be closed.Stopped in for a bite to eat at noon on a Sunday... Ordered a couple coffees and looked at the menu. Coffees came cold and with no cream. Looked around at the food on the few plates in the restaurant and it didn't look appetizing at all. Left without ordering food and won't go back. Next.

Sadly, their prices have gone way up and quality seems to have gone down. We always thought highly of this establishment, their prices and food but we will ride by from now on. ?On edit. We've been stopping for a long time and certainly don't expect a $5.00 burger meal as your dig implies, not even at fast food is it $5, but your prices have gone up faster than other comparable restaurants. I'm disappointed that think I'm not aware of the rising food costs, because I am.We can thank the current politicians for that.
