Pros- reliable outstanding service- well stocked with quite a varietyCons- some of their produce is only available packaged and packaging is for large families (oranges, leeks, etc.)- hot food quality is unreliable, chicken often overcooked, take-away subs are not what you ordered - Surprise! when you get home. They'll tell you you can bring it back, but really, when it's 8pm and snowing, are you going to do that?!?

Produce goes bad in less than a week. Long lines, many rude cashiers. Cold atmosphere. No variety in food offerings. Prices skyrocketed. I now will only shop at Shaw's in Merrimack. Saving a bundle!

I'm a new Flight Attendant and I was surprised that a market is a known "must visit" on New Hampshire layovers...Walking for Lobsters is a must

All of my coworkers, who stay at the nearby hotel rave about this market for their steamed lobster. I went over and I picked up a few and I had them in my hotel room, and they sure did not disappoint. The market has a variety of prepared foods at reasonable prices and great desserts. The service was great. I strongly recommend this spot.

Surprisingly good food here.

Service was slow but friendly. Food feels like homemade; warming and familiar. Nothing flashy. Lots of pre-made meals. Overpriced for what it is, but safe and good for kids. Nothing challenging.

not impressed by the food we had last night the burger I had tasted dry and the fries tasted like cardboard and this market basket is run down my advise if you want food that doesn't taste like card or taste dry just go somewhere else.

I give Five Yelp Stars to the staff of the Market Basket at 375 Amherst Street in Nashua, NH, for coming to work, and working through the snow storm, on March 14, 2023. Unlike nearly every other business around the Market Basket at 375 Amherst Street, the Market Basket was open (during the day, and throughout the evening, up until their scheduled 9:00 PM Closing Hour), and fully staffed, and the Market Basket employees withstood the challenges of getting to and from work, in the snow, unlike the pansies at the neighboring businesses, who were almost all shut down. First Class and Five Stars to the Market Basket employees, and to Market Basket for creating a work environment, and employee loyalty, that brought their employees out in a snow storm, and to work. We love much about Market Basket, particularly their goods, services, and prices. Market Basket's Irish Soda Bread, however, is a pathetic representation of Irish Soda Bread, and should be banned from public consumption.

Have done a lot of insta cart since Covid yet made today the day I go back to in store shopping at MB which I have missed...... What a disappointment.... Oh they had plenty of staff which many establishments can't find yet lacking in customer service which is a reflection on mgt. I had 1 bagger, one cashier and "Michael"'who was complaining he had to train someone who had transferred to this store. 3 people and I had to help the bagger while 2 on the registers stood there and chatted. My heart went out to the bagger, I received my receipt and those two still stood there and did nothing to help. When I go through I observed rest of check out area...... enough registers open with 2-3 at each register yet lines backed up.......MB your standards have definitely slipped..

I don't think I've ever written a review about a grocery store before, but this one deserves it. I've been shopping here for a while bc I like how big the store is and the fact that it has a full bakery and butcher. Aside from that, they've gone way downhill since the start of covid. They are always out of at least a handful of the things you need. Without fail. And the employees are the most miserable employees I've ever encountered at a grocery store. Every time I'm in there, they are standing in the middle of the aisles or at the registers, complaining about how miserable they are and how terribly management treats them. Extremely unprofessional and none of them seem to care that customers can hear them.

Inside Market Basket grocery store is a nice cafe with an open 50 chair seating area (high & low chairs) with 2 TVs and restrooms. You can hear the registers and customers chatting. Not a typical cafe atmosphere.the selection of tea and specialty coffee drinks is nice. They also have Market Basket bakery and fresh popcorn. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are low and the WIFI is very good.overall a great place to stop off while shopping.

THE best place to get groceries. They tend to focus on local farms, and I love how the owner treats his employees. Those who say "WalMart/Aldi/etc" are better completely miss the point! It's not just about pricing. I don't mind paying an extra 10 cents for that can of soup to keep LOCAL jobs LOCAL!!!
