My first time there , I found the atmosphere to be welcoming. Once I received my order of smoked chicken wings , I was not pleased at how dark they were . Once I tasted it , it was seasoned and tasty . (But) Parts of the chicken wings were not digestive . I will never recommend the food . I was vomiting all I had eating there . I will visit again , when certain events are presented , but the food , I can't recommend it !!!

Bar and grill only open for breakfast?? I made reservations at the hotel attached so we wouldnt have to worry about drinking and driving. Only to arrive and be told they are breakfast only. I understand with covid thing are a little different but you need to update your business hours on Google.

Shade is closed indefinite pending completion of hotel renovations.

The food is good but they are understaffed and so service is quite slow at no fault of employees. Also the layout is terrible. Anything you need from the server, they have to walk 30 or 40 yards to get it for you. And the bar layout is bad too... there is no exit or entrance near the dining room so employees once again must travel across the universe to get where they need to be. It is also impossible to use a breakfast coupon to take food back up to the room unless you have a declaration from Congress and your server is kind enough to travel across the border to get you the take out containers and forks and spoons etc. And don't order eggs. I was the only guy in there and they took like 15 min to come out. I was done eating by then. They need to make the breakfast self service instead of hide stuff and require eggs be ordered as needed. They do this to justify keeping the breakfast servers, so they can make money off tips instead of get paid fairly

Decent experience. They have great specials and the happy hour is great. Service is lacking with some basic issues. They need to do better with communicating what their specials mean and ensure staff is all properly trained.

Bartender Mike is the main redeeming factor at SHADE bar, and food is consistently good. Unfortunately the “last call” bright lighting at the bar is a real bummer for road warriors who just want to relax. Also, my friends are concerned that COVID protocols are not routinely enforced at the Shade bar They are concerned for their safety.

(this review was written during the covid time) We chose Shade due to the inability of most NH restaurants being able to deal with a party of more then 6. we attempted several before being told that they would accommodate our party of 8. Providing we keep the required distance. The place was empty for the most part. At time of entry there were perhaps 6 other ppl aside from our party. Mike was the host, bartender, waiter, and spokesman. He took our drink order, food order, and kept us entertained for the 2+ hours we occupied his space. Mike made it feel like a home. We had stayed at this hotel several times before, but not this time, due to a deal we received up the road a bit. we ordered appetizers and some basic food. Mike brought our food our onetime and it was delicious and hot. The place kept getting more and more crowded as the night progressed. He told us on several occasions when we "pushed" the limits of social distancing that we had to comply, which we did. Although the rules were designed to keep us apart, Mike made us feel as if we were a total group. We will be returning to "Mike" on our next trip to NH

If I could give this place a zero I would. Stayed at the Radisson and tried this place for dinner. We waited a long time to be helped and even longer for drinks. Two waitresses were walking at the table next to us about how they didn’t know why they came to work and how much it sucked. Not the kind of drama we wanted to be subjected to on our vacation. Ordered the only 2 gluten free items on the menu. One came out wrong and the other was awful. Disgusting food. We left and thankfully manager didn’t make us pay for the nasty food. Tried again for breakfast because we wanted the convenience and its breakfast - how can you mess it up? Well, you did. It was gross. Cold powdered eggs and just low quality food. Stuff most other hotels offer for free these days. Will never eat here again.

First time to visit and was very happy. They put on a great Thanksgiving dinner or you could choose from the regular menu. It was so nice to find a place open and our server was fantastic. She really made the day special. If this is how they do business on a holiday I'm sure a regular weekday is just as good. Wish I lived closer, I'd visit more often.

Not enough help We were staying over at the Radisson after a wedding. The wedding guests reserved 30+ rooms. In prior conversations, the hotel had known we chose it for the restaurant for after the wedding. We got to the hotel and there were 4 empty buses (yikes) and the lobby was full of young athletes staying over for some kind of tournament.....no problem they were all too young to go to the bar. Then we walked to the bar and there was a wedding with what looked like 300 people....then we went to the bar. Initially there was one very slow bartender and then a second slow one was added. The first one was a little testy...she was definitely overwhelmed. There were two servers, and after waiting 20 minutes to get waited on I saw this young waitress bring drinks to another table and I went over and asked her if she could take our drink order and deliver it to our table. She said no we have to go through the bar. So 10 minutes later a waiter came out and he obliged us and we also ordered some appetizers. UGH! Then, when we were getting ready to leave I did not see the waiter and once again went to the waitress and asked her if she could get our check and she said no she was not our server and we would have to look for him! Really? She was useless....NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! And...I saw members of management come to the restaurant and see the lines but I guess they didn't care.....too bad.....

Upscale in appearance, but family friendly prices. The food and drinks were great and the service was superb. The restaurant is beautiful. I think better marketing could pack this place.
