“First, looking from the outside you would never expect the amazing cozy feeling you get when you walk into Rossi's. Amazing wood decor, darling wood beams, large stone fireplace. The service was friendly and on time. The food was better than most Italian restaurants I've been to. I recommend checking them out if you are in the area.”

“Great staff. Eggs, bacon, toast all cooked perfectly. The sausage gravy was average at best, the potato wedges were overcooked and too salty, the brioche French toast bites special was inedible, but the manager quickly fixed it. Reasonable cost. Delicious coffee and tea.”

“Just a classic local diner with delicious food! We stopped in for breakfast and just loved the entire feel of the place. Our server was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. The portions were very large and we left full. I think one of our favorite little things around it was the slight slant of the building that just gave it this "eclectic" vibe. “Walking into this cozy family run establishment I was greeted warmly by a young man, and after browsing some menu options I ordered the breakfast burrito substituting the protein for their steak option. While waiting for my food I learned that the owners son was the one taking my order and preparing my meal. I enjoyed the light banter and friendly conversation with both owners, husband and wife, who spoke with pride as their son was excited to prepare something that would, "Blow my socks off!" I felt that the atmosphere was honest and wholesome, certainly a delight to sit and enjoy a fine respite from the cold. The meal came and as you can see from my picture attached, it was Huge! I enjoyed the meal very much packing up half of it togo, and for 16 dollars for such a healthy portion and a drink I felt as though the price was honest and fair. I left a small tip at the counter jar and left with a full belly and I am looking forward to exploring the more dessert-like options that they have available. If you are looking for something with a fair and honest price and friendly atmosphere you can count on 48 Main to provide that health conscious options with the tease of cheat day at your discretion. A great find for breakfast or lunch in the heart of downtown Merideth.”

“A very cool casual atmosphere as most have. This one is a bit more rustic. It was not very busy when we went but it was snowing. The food was good. I enjoyed it. Some of my party thought it was just okay. The only problem I had is we had to wait a long time for everything even though the place was not busy. Otherwise, it's always a good experience at the common man. At this particular place I found a lot of interesting sounding dishes on the menu. “I loved this place! My husband and I came in, sat down at the counter, and enjoyed our delicious ice cream! He got a banana split sundae while I got a one-scooper of cookie dough. The ice cream was rich and creamy, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous. The service was excellent, and it was the perfect place to slow down for a bit and enjoy some ice cream. The only thing that could've made it cooler, was if they served old fashioned sodas. It was the perfect retro feel inside and the sodas would've elevated it to something untouchable!! It's also connected to a used bookstore, which is pretty much a dream spot for me. If we are ever in the area again, this will be a high priority on our list!”

“After driving by Walter's Basin so many times, I finally stopped in for a meal today. I did not realize how large the inside of this restaurant was! The waitress suggested the Watermelon Margarita and that was super tasty! The menu had a wide variety of options. I really enjoyed the Rainbow Trout dish. Great view overlooking Little Squam!”

The restaurant was decorated with winter wreaths and red ribbon making us feel right at home. We order mixed drinks, wine, soft drinks and water. We ordered appetizers of Gyoza (6 in an order) and scalloped wrapped bacon (5 in an order), after 20 mins they arrived hot at the table!! We placed our order for our main entrees and they arrived about 40 mins later, all but one order was correct. The kitchen only mixed up the side order which was corrected immediately by our waiter. Our waiter was fun, made recommendations, answered our questions and was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered desserts to go, the gluten free cake was delicious!! If you're in town there's plenty to choose from here!!”

“If Hart's is not your thing when visiting Meredith, try this fantastic alternative. Surfside is a great low key spot for burgers, seafood, tacos and a wide menu that doesn't suffer from the variety. The service on the outdoor patio is a great outdoor location for a nice day and staff is always friendly. Portion and price friendly with a good amount of quality food, you'd do yourself a favor trying this place out.”

“Finally made it to this staple in Belmont. I was told by friends to try it for a while not but for some reason I just didn't. I should have listened! As always the big tests for Mexican restaurants for me is the chips and salsa and the margaritas. This place doesn't disappoint on either. The chips are hot and crispy and the salsa has just the right amount of hear to make it craveable. I have been there twice now, once with the grandson and once alone. When I brought the boy he loved the queso dip. Said it was ooey and gooey and delicious. I got some gringo tacos and they came out piping hot and flavorful beyond words. The margaritas are fantastic. The bartenders are attentive, funny and know their trade.”
