Came here to celebrate my Vegan-niversy with some sweets -- so incredibly worth the drive out. Also got the buffalo wrap and it was a great combination of spicy and cool -- very well proportioned protein to veggie ratio and filling. But what REALLY takes the cake (pun intended) are the vegan baked goods! Got a s'mores bar and a raspberry bar: Only eaten the former thus far, and it was AMAZIING. Not a bad bite to be had - good size, not sickly sweet, and super satisfying with fabulous flavor. The only potential con (I was fine because I was in no hurry) is to be prepared for a wait -- especially if you order in person. There's only one lady and she's amazing, but she can only do so much. Be patient -- it's Worth it!

We stopped in last week on our way to Storyland. Ordered two vegan wraps and a piece of chocolate cake with PB frosting. The wraps were delicious and substantial. The cake was also yummy and not overwhelmingly sweet, which was nice. Wish there was a place like this where I live. Can't wait to go back!

Though not fully vegan, there were many vegan options. The vegan lunch meat was very good and decently sized. The store side of the deli contained a lot of vegan snacks along with crystals, teas, and soaps. I will definitely be back!

*edit - valley vegan has become luke's sub shop. they no longer specialize in vegan fare.* valley vegan is a one stop shop for all things vegan breakfast, lunch, baked goods, vegan grocery items, candy, and even crystals! i don't think i've ever tried anything on the menu that i didn't like (and believe me, we've tried a lot!) some of my favorites are the caesar salad wrap, smoky tempeh and ranch pasta salad, buddha bowls, seitan and cheese subs, any and all cake slices, scones, you name it! absolutely worth a trip and worth a stop! ✨ #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2023-01-26

Amazing deserts! My daughter is 100% vegan and she absolutely loved your Smores bar!! She was so excited to see jarred vegan alfredo and jarred cheese sauce. We had never seen the Alfredo sauce before. The cheese sauce was really good over nachos. We love that you carry specialty items that can't be found elsewhere. The Valley Vegan is a hidden gem. We have been there twice. Whenever we come up North, we make a point to visit your store. You never know what you will find. Thank you so much for carrying vegan items that taste great. It would be awesome if you could stock Daiya honey mustard sauce. My daughter loves it, but all the stores in our area stopped carrying that particular flavor. Sometimes you can find it online, but not too often and the shipping is expensive as the sauces are on glass bottles.

I've been coming here regularly for years. Once great, they're now showing growing pains. The pastry selection and quality remain top-notch, but the other food (sandwiches, appetizers, etc.) have gone way downhill. This happens particularly when the place is busy. Dishes are just thrown together with little regard to quality or the original recipe, with the end result being that you open the container and find that what you received bears little resemblance to what you ordered. Recipe items will be missing (cheez, seitan, tempeh bacon, etc.), spices are sauces are wrong or missing, or things are inserted into the dish that aren't even supposed to be there (based on what the menu board says). None of this would be a big deal if the owners responded to feedback, but that doesn't seem to happen. Disappointing.

They had planned to open late the day we visited but someone was there to let us in to take a look around. Glad they did we were on our way out of state.

Being vegan in the Conway area was a bit easier than I expected, but no beyond burger on a random restaurant menu can beat the Valley Vegan!! A fully vegan store with great goodies for a weekend full of adventures in the White Mountains, this place was a dream come true. A bit pricey but it was awesome to find vegan jerky and date/fig sausages and a whole bunch of other goodies. The baked goods all looked delicious, I had the peanut butter frosting chocolate cake and it was absolutely amazing! We got 2 breakfast sandwiches and had the hashbrowns on the inside, as you should. I almost went back to get another sandwich it was so good the morning after a long day of hiking. The staff was super friendly and designed some really cute stickers and magnets they were selling. 10/10 would recommend a stop here even if you're just passing through the Conway area. I got the breakfast sandwich with Just Egg, plant based sausage on an English muffin. The sandwich was very good and the staff was friendly. Has a lot of packaged vegan food too, everything in the store is vegan.
