Excellent customer service! They let us bring in a special homemade birthday cake and even served it. Gluten-free options, fair prices and good portions. Highly recommended

The owner/manager of this place has bad attitude.Walked in this restaurant with our small dog. The host sat us down. We waited for over 10 minutes before a waitress came to us. Ordered our food. Waited for quite some time too, at least over 30 minutes. An old man with eye glasses on and dressed casually and differently than other waiters/waitresses brought us the appetizers. (I assumed he’s the owner or the manager?)He saw our little dog and gave us attitude. He asked is this a service dog. We responded no. He then said that dogs are not allowed in here with purple in his face then left our table. We sat there confused and didn’t know if we should eat the appetizers in front of us.Couple minutes later, he came back out and said that we can’t be eating here with our dog. He “offered” to pack the food to go for us. I told him that if we can’t eat here we are leaving and we don’t want the food anymore. He said okay and said that it’s the NH law that dogs are not allowed in restaurants and there’s a sign outside the restaurant.First of all I did not see a sign stating that dogs are not allowed. I double checked when walking out of the restaurant, and I did not see that sign at all. Secondly it’s the restaurant’s responsibility to know that dogs are not allowed in restaurants. The host didn’t say anything and sat us down from the beginning. Not trying to blame the host, but you need to educate your employees about this.I am okay being told to leave because dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. But this person’s attitude is terrible.

It’s been a little while since dining at Hobb’s Tavern but it didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent, food was great and the dining atmosphere was the best! Will make a point to dine more often here!

Always a solid spot for a good dinner when heading through the area. They carry many of their own beers which are good, and the food is fresh and varied. Service is friendly, surprisingly good marg

Loved the menu. We reserved a table for 3 - one wanted soup and salad, one wanted a salad with beef tips on top and I wanted a full seafood dinner. The menu had many options in each category so everyone had a perfect meal for them. Service was great. They have a craft brewery on site and I tried and loved the Pilsner they make there. I will definitely return

I've been coming here for years. Always enjoyed the food. My issue wasn't the food or drinks as both were fantastic. It was the service- the host squawked at us for having children... as we were a multi family coming in to have dinner together- didn't offer kid cups and was told they had to drink out of glass- the server was rude- first thing she did instead of a friendly greeting was commenting, "you must not be from around here" when she first came to our table. In fact we are locals and that shouldn't matter- as a server your job is to take care of your customers, be kind and courteous, which is absolutely the opposite of what we received. I am a server in the valley have been for years. It's extremely disappointing to go out and spend a lot of money dining at a place where the service is terrible.
